I really wanted to like this because I adored the smell and I love lush products but it literally fell apart in the shower and was impossible to clean with. It actually is like washing yourself with jelly. I've kept the tub because I love the smell but it's back to good ol' body wash for me.

Lush Shower Jelly Sweetie Pie
Sweet and sophisticated fruitiness.
Lashings of blackcurrant and bergamot essential oils in a sour cherry and coconut jelly make this about as fruity as you can get. It is incredibly difficult to resist taking a spoonful.
Instead, take a handful and smooth it over your hair and body. Passing strangers will smell you and find their minds wandering to fruit pastilles.

Tips: Don't purchase if looking for a good clean.
Lush products are a often a hit & miss situation for me. On the one hand some of them smell divine, they look beautiful & they make me feel so wonderful when I use them.
On the other hand some of them smell dreadful, don't really do anything for me & I end up throwing them away. This product takes a few things from the hit list & a few things from the miss list.
First of all - the scent. This smells like heaven in a little plastic pot. I can't get enough of it, I want to bottle it as a perfume just so I can smell it all day. It smells just like "You snap the whip" which is my favourite Lush product.
I've found the easiest way to use this product is to pull a small piece off (quite tricky to do) and work it into a loofah. Using it as a whole just results in a very frustrating shower with a lot of time spent picking a ball of jelly off the ground!
I also like to use it with exfoliating gloves as it lathers up beautifully.
I definitely feel as though this a novelty product. It's not convenient to use and I end up having to have a longer shower because of it.
It does clean well, it smells incredible, it lathers beautifully but it just takes so darn long! This would be so much better as a shower gel, I would buy it for the rest of my life just for the fragrance alone.
Tips: Use on a loofah or with exfoliating gloves.
As a bit of an impulse buyer at times, I marched into Lush and upon falling in love with the idea of this product, promptly bought this and a pot of different flavour shower jelly. Whats not to like? the colour is fab, the smell is amazing and the glitter gives it the girly, pure indulgence status I often look for. The reality however is, it is very hard to pull any out of the tub, and keeping hold if it to lather across your body is almost impossible - even with a sponge or cloth. You waste as much as you may be lucky enough to get across your body! Sadly the smell didnt last either
Tips: Lather up onto a cloth before attempting to wash your body. Would buy for a bit of a different gift for someone, but wouldnt repeat use.
Yeah its okay.... I guess. Smells yum but didn't really make me feel overly clean or anything. Hard to keep hold of since its so wiggly and jiggly but its okay...
The scent of this shower jelly is so addictive! Loved the smell and the idea of this product is fun, however, I didn't find this product to be very practical; after several uses it cracked and fell to pieces (definitely still able to be used though). I kept using it for about a month so it definitely lasts a while. I'm not going to re-purchase but would still be stoked if I was gifted it - basically a good product but I would prefer spending my money on something else next time :)
I love the smell of this product. Yummy! I think the textures really fun and although I don't like it for everyday in the shower, its great for keeping kids entertained.
The humble shower jelly is the hybrid of shower gel and soap. This innovation from LUSH has been a favourite of mine for years, but I only purchase it from time to time. Yes, it makes shower time more entertaining, but requires very disciplined usage or you will lose the lot of it down the drain. If you have good hand-eye coordination, take out the whole thing and use it like a soap. If not, pinch of a piece and but in in a bath lilly like you would shower gel. I've even heard of people who just chuck the whole thing in a blender to turn it into shower gel, because they love the scent but not the jelly-ish-ness. Personally I use the second option. Sweetie Pie is a glittery purple jelly which smells like tangy, sweet blackberries. It's quite divine, now I think about it. For a not-so-mainstream approach to getting clean, try Sweetie Pie from LUSH.
this stuff is adorable, a spin off on soap! sort of drying and is more of a fun-kiddy thing i personally think. nice as hand soap
I really wanted to like this a lot more than I actually did. I've used quite a few Lush products and generally liked them, but this one was hard work. The jelly texture is novel, but a complete pain to try and manage in a slippery shower setting when you've just woken up. I found the best way to use it in the end was to break it into small pieces and wedge them into one of those shower puffs to prevent the jelly from escaping. On the plus side, the fragrance was amazing and always put me in a good mood. My skin can also be problematic but I found that this product was not drying and did not cause me any issues
I received this jelly shower gel as part of a gift from my husband. I enjoyed using it. It smelled sweet and delicious and was quite a fun concept, smearing jelly on yourself! However, it was easy to drop when scooping out of the pot, and globs would fall on the shower floor.
I much prefer the liquid body washes that Lush do. So while it was great to use as a gift, I wouldn't personally spend my money on it.
