Last year my partner got me a Sugar Sugar gift box last year. Finally I have been able to try this shower jelly. Never heard of shower jellies until I came across lush. Took me a while to get the hang of jellies , but now I think I've mastered how to use them.
Typically lush shower jellies come in clear sturdy tubs that you can see product through. These kind of tubs can be used for trade for a free face mask. The labelling on it is clear with expiry dates visible. I love the name sweetie pie . It certainly lives up to its name. This jelly is a deep rich purple colour. The texture of it is clear purple wobbly jelly consistency. This jellies scent reminds me of rich blackcurrants and berries sweet fruity bliss that's not overly sweet 'just right '.
With application I tear off a small chunk and place it on my shower puff and it turns into a white bubbly fruity foam. It's fragrance lasts in my shower for an hour or so later. My body feels clean and hydrated. Super easy to use. So far I have managed to get five washes and I still have plenty left.
Lush announced they would be discontinuing this jelly. Oh my heart sank. I have fallen in love with this one. I hope lush will create a jelly with a similar scent. If it was still around I would keep buying it .
Love the lush range of products, brought a few from their online store earlier this year. I absolutely love the natural fruity smell that this product gives out, and its quite playful. I use this with other plain scrubs as it mixes well together for a a silky all over shower body lotion
