This is a beautiful little pot of smelly goodness. I love the idea of jelly - it's hard, yet foamy and super fun. It also smells amazing. This sweetie pie will definitely leave you smelling delicious. An added bonus: my kids love taking a bath with this. I just tear a little bit off and give it to them to 'play' with. Little do they know they're getting a good clean too!

Lush Shower Jelly Sweetie Pie
Sweet and sophisticated fruitiness.
Lashings of blackcurrant and bergamot essential oils in a sour cherry and coconut jelly make this about as fruity as you can get. It is incredibly difficult to resist taking a spoonful.
Instead, take a handful and smooth it over your hair and body. Passing strangers will smell you and find their minds wandering to fruit pastilles.

Tips: Keep it in the fridge for an added sensory delight.
I got given this in a hamper and it sat at the back of my drawers for so long. Then I used my bathbomb and figured it was worth a try.. oh my gosh! AMAZING! it smells like cherry and coconut and is so so soft on the skin. I use it on my arms and legs for a really gentle massger when I have a bath and find its nice on sensitive skin too! Plus it surprisingly lasts for a really long time, I have had it maybe two months and use it quite regularly and i've not even used half?!
Tips: Grab a lush bathbomb for a long bath and then use this shower jelly on tired arms and legs, you'll feel so relaxed and will smell amazing! Plus your skin will thank you for it <3
I have yet to find a Lush product I dont love. This is a little pot of happiness. I love my shower even more when there is a pot of this going.
You will use it as you use a bar of soap, dont break it up. I find it wont bubble up as much as soap or shower gel but it still leaves you feeling and smelling amazing. As it is just me using this I find it lasts for ages! Value for money. Dont forget, if you take 5 empty Lush containers to a store you will get a free face mask.
I bought this recently and loved the scent. Seriously I would love it if Lush would put this scent in like a body butter or cream. It smells like berries, sugar and a hint of something else I can't quite figure out. I wasn't sure how much use I'd get out of the little 100 gram pot. I had seen tips for using this and it was recommended to chop this up into little cubes and just take a cube when you want to use this. I got quite a few cubes out of this. When I showered I took a smaller cube on a shower puff to lather it up. I did get a good lather on the puff but I had to go back and lather with that little piece several times during my shower to get enough for my whole body. However despite using a small piece, I still had half the piece left after my shower that's pretty impressive. My skin was left soft, but the scent didn't really last past rinsing when I use a shower puff. However when I wash my hands after handling a piece I have tons of lather on my hands and my hands smell yummy. Some online videos suggested I could use this as bubble bath. This proved to be a bit tedious because in order to get it to dissolve to try to get lather I had to sort of wash my hands under the water and that didn't have any effect on the bathwater and the piece kept slipping out of my hand and sinking to the bottom of the tub. My hands got really dry as well, so I don't recommend it as a foam or bubble bath. I love that this product has natural ingredients like cherry and coconut infusion and glycerine which helps give it some moisture. I also definitely like how a little goes a long way so you definitely will get a lot of use out of even a small pot. The few things which I don't like are that it has sodium laureth sulfate which really dries out my skin particularly if I use it everyday. The pot also will leak if it's not upright and you'll get purple soapy liquid all over the stuff in your drawer or bag which is a bit inconvenient. But other than that I really like this shower jelly.
Tips: You will definitely save money chopping this up into cubes and just use a cube at a time instead using the tub of jelly and then dumping it back in the pot after you shower. I chopped mine into about 2-3 cm square cubes but I found that more than enough for my shower. I have heard that these can be used as shampoo if you don't have anything else on hand or just want the scent in your hair, but I haven't tried that personally. I don't recommend this as a bath gel or foam as it just doesn't lather well for a bath or dissolve well. It does lather super well on a shower puff but if you're after a lingering scent on your skin you're better off using your hands to shower. This has a lot SLS, hence the gorgeous lather so if you've got sensitive skin, use this a treat.
Love the lush range of products, brought a few from their online store earlier this year. I absolutely love the natural fruity smell that this product gives out, and its quite playful. I use this with other plain scrubs as it mixes well together for a a silky all over shower body lotion
Last year my partner got me a Sugar Sugar gift box last year. Finally I have been able to try this shower jelly. Never heard of shower jellies until I came across lush. Took me a while to get the hang of jellies , but now I think I've mastered how to use them.
Typically lush shower jellies come in clear sturdy tubs that you can see product through. These kind of tubs can be used for trade for a free face mask. The labelling on it is clear with expiry dates visible. I love the name sweetie pie . It certainly lives up to its name. This jelly is a deep rich purple colour. The texture of it is clear purple wobbly jelly consistency. This jellies scent reminds me of rich blackcurrants and berries sweet fruity bliss that's not overly sweet 'just right '.
With application I tear off a small chunk and place it on my shower puff and it turns into a white bubbly fruity foam. It's fragrance lasts in my shower for an hour or so later. My body feels clean and hydrated. Super easy to use. So far I have managed to get five washes and I still have plenty left.
Lush announced they would be discontinuing this jelly. Oh my heart sank. I have fallen in love with this one. I hope lush will create a jelly with a similar scent. If it was still around I would keep buying it .
I have the small size of this jelly, well when I say I, I mean my sister owns this but I've been using it! This jelly come in a little clear pot with a screw top lid. It has all the ingredients cleary stated and also a sticker with the best before dates and even who made it. The one I'm using is actually past the best before date by a month but it still smells amazing and works exactly like it should.
Shower jellies are definitely an interesting concept. They are literally a jellied form of soap. I have to admit that it's not my favourite product to use but I don't mind using them every now and then. Basically, I'm lazy. I like to just squirt a gel onto a shower puff and wash. With this, you need to pull a piece off and work it into a lather onto your shower puff. Well that is how I like to use it anyway, you can also use these whole or freeze them. I haven't tried those ways though but I've seen others recommending those ways. Once I do have it lathered though, it is quite rich and feels like it washes me really well.
The scent of this is very good. To me, I get a really strong, sweet red licorice scent. I can't pick up sour cherry or anything else. I really like this though, I've always preferred sweeter scents. I can smell this on me after I shower but I'm not sure how long it lasts as I use scented body lotion and perfume.
Unfortunately, this product has now been discontinued. You may be able to buy some off a lush facebook page or maybe trademe but not in a lush store anymore. This is the only reason I can't recommend it and most likely wouldn't buy it for myself! If you are after this scent though, the comforter is very similar and comes in a bubble bar and shower cream.
I'm quite sure this was the first product I've ever tried from Lush, and it's what put me off from buying there. Thankfully, I got over that eventually because they've got other, much more amazing products!
I don't like this product at all. In terms of practicality and functionality, it's messy and not time-efficient. When I first used it I actually had no clue on how to use it. Some said to grab the whole thing and use it like a bar of soap, others said to just hack a piece off and use that. I did a mix of both, and I just found the whole procedure bothersome and annoying. The only good thing I liked about this product was the smell which was sweet and fruity like artificial candy.
If it weren't discontinued, I still would not repurchase, if it came in the form of a shower gel, I probably would just for the scent alone.
my daughter bought me this for mothers day, it was the first lush product i ever tried. i love how it smells, its very nice.
i did like this product, but it was weird because its a jelly. a lot of it went to waste because i didnt have a loofah or gloves, nor did i know how to use it properly. i think its innovative but not really my kind of thing, and i dont know how people use it on a regular basis.
but it made my skin feel nice and soft and it smelled amazing, it bubbled nicely. i liked it, but i wouldn't buy it again
The scent of the Sweet Pie Jelly is just amazing, it smells fruity, berries and luxurious. I've repurchased this product as it is such a fun product to use, and leaves my skin feeling clean, soft and smelling amazing. I find the scent lingers on my skin as I catch whiffs of it during the day. I still have not perfected the best way of using it, as after a few uses it does start to disintegrate, so the pieces I use get smaller and smaller. But still no wastage. I love the fun nature of this product, and I think it is at a very good price point.
Tips: Close the tub as soon as you've finished using it, and drain any water out straight away.
