Lush Shower Jelly Sweetie Pie
Sweet and sophisticated fruitiness.
Lashings of blackcurrant and bergamot essential oils in a sour cherry and coconut jelly make this about as fruity as you can get. It is incredibly difficult to resist taking a spoonful.
Instead, take a handful and smooth it over your hair and body. Passing strangers will smell you and find their minds wandering to fruit pastilles.

It smells nice and did what it said it would but I was not overly impressed with this product as I used it I didnt know the outcome of leaving it in the shower open and it turned into mush.
Tips: Dont leave in the shower open as it turns to mush.
When you walk into a lush store, everything smells amazing, it really does. I'm one of those people that pick everything up just to smell it. Unfortunately that's what I did with this product, I liked the smell but using it was another story. I found it harder to use because of it's jelly consistency, and it didn't really bubble up or have soap suds. It was kind of just like rubbing really nice smelling jelly on my body, with it not actually doing anything. The scent didn't last very long either
Tips: Try it in store to see if you like it.
Not a huge fan of sweet or berry scents but this is quiet nice, if you are a fan of sweet berry fragrances you'll love it. It does stay on the body for a really long time!
Tips: to make this into a gel and WAY easier to use, put it in a large shower gel bottle and add 1:1 of water (50g pot of jelly to 50g water) and leave it for a few days (although chopping it up will make this process faster) it should turn into a gel, add more water if needed.
I was really excited to try this product. The first time I used it I was really disappointed. It was so hard to use as you can't grab it to put it on the flannel or in your hand. When you went to rub it in it would just roll off you. The only good thing I can say about this is that it smells amazing but thats about the only thing it has going for it.
Tips: It pays to use a flannel and rub it into the flannel before putting it onto your body!
When I first saw these shower jellies I was quite drawn in by the idea but I probably wouldn't bother with one again. I felt like it was pretty much just difficult to use shower gel. The scent is lovely and refreshing which was great and they do travel well in the little container. I think this could be a great gift idea for something a bit different. I prefer to use a loofah with my shower gel so ended up doing that which kind of defeated the point.
The idea of keeping it in the fridge is great, it definitely was refreshing on a hot day.
Overall, it''s a bit of fun but I most likely wont use it again.
I have the small size of this jelly, well when I say I, I mean my sister owns this but I've been using it! This jelly come in a little clear pot with a screw top lid. It has all the ingredients cleary stated and also a sticker with the best before dates and even who made it. The one I'm using is actually past the best before date by a month but it still smells amazing and works exactly like it should.
Shower jellies are definitely an interesting concept. They are literally a jellied form of soap. I have to admit that it's not my favourite product to use but I don't mind using them every now and then. Basically, I'm lazy. I like to just squirt a gel onto a shower puff and wash. With this, you need to pull a piece off and work it into a lather onto your shower puff. Well that is how I like to use it anyway, you can also use these whole or freeze them. I haven't tried those ways though but I've seen others recommending those ways. Once I do have it lathered though, it is quite rich and feels like it washes me really well.
The scent of this is very good. To me, I get a really strong, sweet red licorice scent. I can't pick up sour cherry or anything else. I really like this though, I've always preferred sweeter scents. I can smell this on me after I shower but I'm not sure how long it lasts as I use scented body lotion and perfume.
Unfortunately, this product has now been discontinued. You may be able to buy some off a lush facebook page or maybe trademe but not in a lush store anymore. This is the only reason I can't recommend it and most likely wouldn't buy it for myself! If you are after this scent though, the comforter is very similar and comes in a bubble bar and shower cream.
I recieved this as a gift.
I liked the concept and come on, wiggling that Jelly in the pot is fun BUT the scent was just not my thing. I ended up letting my 2 girls use it as they liked the smell and the thought of washing themselves with Jelly was hilarious.
I did use it once and it does a decent job(I used it with a loofah) but the lingering scent was too overpowering for me as I didnt like the scent.
This is a really cute product and comes in a cute little pot, but that actual product is quite hard to use in the shower (it is just like jelly!) Jelly is not the easiest thing to pick up, let alone while you have warm water flowing. Maybe it was just me? It also did not last long either.
Aside from that it dose have a very pretty smell and I would recommend using this in the bath rather than the shower. Oh and it has glitter in it!!! I love glitter :)
I'm quite sure this was the first product I've ever tried from Lush, and it's what put me off from buying there. Thankfully, I got over that eventually because they've got other, much more amazing products!
I don't like this product at all. In terms of practicality and functionality, it's messy and not time-efficient. When I first used it I actually had no clue on how to use it. Some said to grab the whole thing and use it like a bar of soap, others said to just hack a piece off and use that. I did a mix of both, and I just found the whole procedure bothersome and annoying. The only good thing I liked about this product was the smell which was sweet and fruity like artificial candy.
If it weren't discontinued, I still would not repurchase, if it came in the form of a shower gel, I probably would just for the scent alone.
