I really love using this as a lipbalm and also on my elbows as they get really scratchy and haven't found anything better than this for my elbows. Although a little greasy I actually loved it. I don't have to reapply for quite a while which Is great.

Lush Ultrabalm
LUSH Ultrabalm is bringing petroleum-free lubrication to the nation.
This moisturising balm is made with plant waxes and nothing else. No petroleum jelly, no mineral oils, just natural goodness.
Our mix of candelilla wax and jojoba oil is a vegan alternative to beeswax; it creates a protective barrier on the skin and locks in moisture, while rose wax soothes irritations.
You can apply the balm to scuffs and scrapes to relieve discomfort, use it as a barrier cream when applying henna, or even use it as a lip balm. There's nothing crude about our lube.
Ultrabalm is also perfect for babies to relieve nappy rash and hydrate dry skin.

I was gifted this by my mother after she discovered it. It's so nourishing and perfect for dry, chapped lips, irritations, cuts, bites and dry skin. After I received this I got a horrible cold and this was amazing on my sore, red nose. Will be re-purchasing over and over.
I really wanted to love this product as I had heard so many good things about it, but I just can't. I find the consistency really hard to work with as it is very solid and difficult to warm up with your fingers. One thing that I did like this for was smoothing down my eyebrows, but the pot is so huge that it will go off before I ever use it all just for that purpose.
I use this like I use Lucas Papaw ointment. It works, but it's quite easy to use too much and then your lips feel quite greasy. It's not particularly fast absorbing either.
Tips: The tin does this weird things where it starts producing like shavings around the threads of the lids. The product also melts on hot days so don't leave it in your car or something.
I love that this is petroleum free and so versatile. A good amount for the price and this works better than anything ive ever tried. Very moisturising. I use this before i put lipsticks on and they dont dry my lips out and glide on really smoothly :)
I'm leery of Lush. The brand markets itself as 'natural', but most of their products are loaded with surfactants such as SLES and other not-so-hippie ingredients.
Nevertheless, they do sell the odd product so simple that it doesn't require any nasties. Their 'Ultrabalm' is one. Mild, natural, non-irritating and a great barrier - and it doesn't have that super-strong 'Lush-store' smell.
I bought the Ultrabalm in the hopes it would help my psoriasis (a rather unpleasant skin condition which causes dry, scaly plaques.) It didn't actually make it go away - nothing really does - but I think it helped prevent the condition worsening by its hardcore moisturisation. I applied it just after I got out of the shower on my elbows, calves and throat. It didn't feel sticky and it kept my skin feeling moisturised all day.
The stuff's pretty thick - good for hands, feet and (in a pinch) lips, though you wouldn't want to tote the whole tin around in a handbag!
I didn't end up buying the product again, simply because it was fairly expensive and I'm always moving on to new products to see whether anything will miraculously cure my psoriasis (short answer, no, but one lives in hope); but I can see myself buying it again in the future. Good stuff.
I love this product. Leaves your skin feeling moisturised but can feel a bit grainy at times. Worked wonders on healing my tattoo.
I love all the products from lush but this is a stand out, I use it for my lips and it leaves them supersoft, I use this after i use my bubblegum lip scrub. I think this is a really good price as the packaging is quite big for a lip balm
Tips: This last a long long long time
Initially when i purchased this, I thought it was magic! I went back and bought two more for my sister and mum. My lips are chappy and my upper lip gets dry frequently and I found this quite moisturising. Overtime though I became slightly disappointed with this. The product wasn't absorbing; like the moisture quality decreases overtime or something. So in the end it's pretty much become obsolete, gone back to papaw ointment!
such a good multi-use product, cheap and effective. this stuff is one of lush's best. i use it as an everyday lip balm.
