Lush Vanishing Cream

Ok, so I have really oily skin and am quite picky with which moisturisers to go with so that my skin does not become over produced with oil. I remember going into Lush and purchasing a face mask, only to walk out with this product as well. I can honestly say the smell is gorgeous and light like the smooth texture. Many times I have tried moisturisers that claim to be good for oily skin and have made my skin worse; however, this moisturiser is absolutely amazing in a sense that it moisturizes your skin without leaving the skin feeling like you have piled on an oily product. Your skin feels like it can still breathe and is left with a smooth moisturising feeling. Definitely worth investing in if you have oily skin.

This is my holy grail moisturiser. I've tried many many different types of moisturiser before but none of them were perfect - either too heavy,, oily, thick, fragranced etc. Even though this is very pricey for a small tub, it is an awesome investment (lasts ages too!). It's super lightweight and sinks effortlessly into the skin. I have oily/combination/acne prone skin and it has helped with reducing shine and breakouts and also doesn't dry me out or block pores. The fragrance is very gentle too and overall, I LOVE it so so much.

Since Ive bombarded the Lush online range of products, this was one of the amazing products I managed to pick up aswell. I have dry//sensitive skin so try and look for amazing moisturisers and cleansers for my skin type. This one did an amazing job with keeping my skin feeling fresh and rejuvenated all day. I also thought the fragrance was a nice subtle scent, very soft and elegant to wear, I Love the product

It is great for oily skin and is one of those moisturisers that doesn't feel heavy on your face and is great for night. It smells natural and fresh however it expires quite quickly.

I'm so excited to review this product. This has done wonders for my skin and I'm in absolute love with it. Its such a creamy, soft moisturising cream and feels that soft that I don't need to add a makeup primer underneath it. Its just beautiful. The smell isn't over powering which is a good thing too. Only downside is its a bit on the pricey side, on the good side, it lasts for ages as a little goes a very long way.

I went into my lush store asking for a sample of vanishing cream, not knowing any thing about the product, apart from the fact that a lot of people loved it. When she came back with the sample pot, I was more than disappointed by how very little she put in the sample pot. I'm talking a pea sized amount. But alas I did not complain, because it was a sample.

At home I read up on it, and discovered that it s moisturiser for oily skin, that is also supposed to help and scarring etc. So I was completely sold.

I'll tell you the first thing, that pea sized sample lasted me 3 uses! So straight off the bat, a little bit of product goes a long way!! I did actually end up buying the full sized version of this because it worked so well, but I'm worried that my money will go to waste as lush products have expiry dates, and as mentioned this product could easily last 2 years, way beyond the suggest expiry.

Anyway, it is a very soft, light weight cream that glides on and absorbs extremely quickly! I love it so much that I want to keep applying more to my face. It leaves the skin feeling super super soft and silky, and is in no way shape of form oily or greasy!

It by all means combats grease, and keeps my skin clear. I work very well with this product and my skin has never looked better since using lush products! I find that this cream doesnt break me out, and may infect prevent them too? I dont know, just an observation.

I have noticed that there has been no change in the acne scaring etc. Those are still there untouched, and rose hip oil does a better job. But I am still happy as that's not what I expected.

It is an excellent moisturiser, that I use daily, and I've never tried anything better!

I'm always skeptical about non-medicated moisturises leaving my oily skin non-greasy, but Lush's Vanishing Cream really does vanish into the skin.

This lovely, light formula comes in the standard Lush tub, which I can give or take when it comes to packaging. I almost think it would work better in a pump bottle given how the consistency is a lotion as opposed to a thick cream.

I apply a little of this morning and night to my face and neck and love how quickly it absorbs into the skin, leaving it moisturised but non-greasy - success! A little goes a long way so despite the initial hit to the pocket, this is a product which will last a long time. The hint of lavender is soothing and not overwhelming. With my problem skin I was relieved to see this didn't irritate it at all and my skin remained clear and safe from breakouts!

This is a lovely moisturiser for those wanting something lightweight and a natural moisturiser. I probably wouldn't repurchase at full price but if it was on sale I would.
