I am a big fan of sweet, cinnamon spicy sort of scents, especially around Christmas. This soap has that sort of scent though not quite, it smells sweet and like cocoa and spices, it has a dusting of some sort of spice that looks like cinnamon or nutmeg and the design on top is really festive. It reminds me of those sugar cinnamon spice cookies which are a favorite of mine. It lathers up with this nice creamy lather that make showers luxurious. Unfortunately it doesn't leave a lingering scent on my skin but showers smell amazing. My only gripe about this soap is that it has Sodium Lauryl Sulfate which it why I don't shower with it as much as I would like. But other than that it's probably my favorite Lush Christmas Soap and I have gifted this to family and friends they have loved it.

Lush Yog Nog Soap Review
Lush Yog Nog Soap is inspired by the famous Christmas drink, egg nog (vegan version!). We’ve added soya yogurt which gives a lovely creamy texture and is softening for the skin and the scent of Clove Bud Oil and Ylang Ylang Oil is topped off with a generous dusting of Nutmeg and Cocoa Powder.

Tips: This a really nice scent for winter as well. Buy a few in the Boxing Day Sales so you can have some sweet, spicy scented soap for those winter showers.
I use Lush soaps as hand soap. I gave up liquid hand soap in favour of solid soaps as I had acquired quite a stash and I prefer to use shower gels in the shower. Since doing so, the persistent patch of dermatitis on my little finger is finally gone! The other bonus is that Lush soaps make the bathroom smell amazing! This soap is no exception.
This soap smells like caramel and spices and it scents the whole bathroom. I love the smell of this as a friend gave it to me last Christmas when we were is Brazil. I had the bar in my backpack for the rest of my trip around South America so the smell reminds me of that wonderful time. (I spent several hours on a bus worried I had left it behind in Monte Video lol)
This is a bit softer than some soap so it needs to be away from moisture on a well draining soap dish. To make it easier to handle and last longer, I cut the bar in half. It then looks (and smells) like a giant chunk of fudge sitting in the bathroom. Do not eat it!
When used, this soap creates a nice gentle lather. It leaves my skin really soft and smooth and I don't have to apply hand cream straight away as I usually do. They almost feel like they have had cream already applied and that lovely scent also lingers on them.
Tips: As with all my favourite Lush products this is a LE so grab it while you can! Lush have been selling it half price in their Boxing Day sale which is due to end any day now.
I purchased a bar of this soap in the lush boxing day sale. I think it was $5 for a 100gm block of soap. I'd never smelled this soap before but it sounded really good and I was looking forward to trying it out.
This comes to you in a simple plastic wrapping, nothing flash but lush focus more on the product not the Packaging! Lush make up big slabs of soap so each piece is cut from this block and will look slightly different. My piece must have been a middle piece as I didn't get any of the pretty decorative outer. Not that, that is a big deal but it does look nice in the picture above.
The scent of this is really warm and inviting. It reminds me of a ginger slice but without the ginger if that makes sense. It's spicy and completely feels like a cooler weather scent. I would love it if this scent was available as a body wash!
I just use this as a hand soap. To be honest it's not the best I've used at lathering up. It's not a super soft soap so that could be why. I do get some bubbles of course but not as many as I would prefer to have to feel like it's properly cleansing.
Overall, I love the scent of this so would possibly buy it again. I don't think I'd pay full price as I don't think it's the best functioning soap but maybe it would be good to just have as a decorative soap to scent your drawers etc.
I was surprised when I opened my Joy to the World Christmas box, that this soap wasn’t the cute round shape with patterns in it, that I’d seen in the picture. Mine is a rectangular bar.
It smells lovely, almost caramel smelling, and that matches the caramel colour. It doesn’t lather much so has lasted for quite a while. The smell is still perceptible on my skin for a wee while after using the soap.
It claims to be creamy and softening to the skin, and it is both of those things. My skin feels clean after using it, and it isn’t drying like some soaps can be.
I don’t mind it, but it’s kind of plain and not as good as Miranda soap.
To be honest, and especially considering the price, $8.50, I think I prefer other brands of soaps.
Tips: It is a product suitable for a lovely small gift for someone.
I first tried the soap in 2014. A friend bought me it as she knows I love spicy scents. Since then I have been hooked.
There is just something a bought the creamy lather and spicy scent that makes me happy. I ended up buying a 1/4 of a wheel that year and begged for it to be brought back for Christmas 2015.
You can imagen how ecstatic I was when it arrived in stores last year. I treated myself and bought a whole wheel of it and am still enjoying using it now 6 months later.
I also stocked up on the bath bomb version and am now hoping for a shower cream this Christmas.
This is one of my yearly highlights in the Lush Christmas collection. It's a beautiful creamy soap that smells divine. It really lets you know that Christmas has arrived. This soap foams well but not overly so and leaves my skin feeling clean and nice.
Tips: I always cut my Lush soaps into smaller bits to reduce wastage of them sitting in the shower.
I bought this from the Xmas editions of Lush. The cute pictures appealed to me first off so I knew I had to have it in my soap collection. Now one thing I don't like is when they show what the soap looks like in the picture, it's all purdy with lil pictures but then when you get it, it's another story! I got a part of a xmas tree picture on mine and that's it! Disappointed to say the least.
Despite the initial let down of it not having the design in full it smelled divine!! I didn't know what Yog Nog smelled like before this soap but if that's what it's always like gimmie a cup any day yum! The soap is a tan/yellow colour-ish and very honey I washed the kids looking besides the festive designs.
I was hesitant to use it on my body because in the past Lush soaps have made my skin very squeaky and dry feeling afterwards. Nonetheless I forged ahead so in love with the aroma and soaped up. The smell just wafts throughout the entire shower and bathroom making me love it more. The bubbles are very creamy like and actually feels like my skin is soft and supple! After I rinsed my skin did have the slightly squeaky feel but hooray no dry skin like usual! I think the fact that it is quite a creamy soap definitely helps inject some moisture in to my skin.
The scent stays on my skin for hours after with compliments from the local shop owner, my husband and my son. They all said it smells of caramel and cream with a hint of cinnamon. I am a happy camper with those results! I am a firm lover and will stock up each Xmas restock!
Tips: Keep in an air tight container or otherwise to avoid scummy build up on bottom.
Absolutely love the splended blend of natural ingredients prodvided in this little soap. Ive been hooked on this Lush range of soaps as they are so different to other average brands. This soap had a nice sweet scent to it, and applied nicely onto my skin. It did manage to keep hydrated after I washed it all off love the product.
I adore this soap. I first came across it in an xmas pack (2 years ago? 3 years ago?) and was hooked. The smell is out of this world. I am a caramel, vanilla spice lover and this just makes me so happy. However I either missed it this past xmas or it was not there? Perhaps I was blind. Someone told me it sometimes also is released at midwinter so I will keep my eyes out for it!
Think a creamy cup of caramel chai that is delightful on your skin and heaven on you senses. Not romantic enough for you? They made it into a bathbomb - I know. YOU ARE WELCOME!
I struggle with some lush soaps because they leave my skin feeling dry (hush my mouth) but maybe that is just me. This is pretty much one of the only ones that leaves it feeling creamy soft not dry and weird. Sorry other lush soaps.
It does (if not stored on a soap dish) end up dissolving in the shower so keep it safe and out of reach of other shower users who may not follow the soap keeping rules needed!
The smell follows you around and I secretly love when someone asks what you have on. It makes me feel like I smell amazing. Which clearly I do ;)
Tips: Keep it on a soap dish and TELL ME when it is out so I never miss out again!
Okay, the title is a partial lie because I have never tried egg-nog but I do love the soap that is a play on the name. When I still had a local lush, I ran to the store to smell this product when their Christmas collection was released but it smelt like nothing to me (silly smell of Lush messing with my senses) so I didn’t make an order. It wasn’t till I received a sample of the stuff that I actually went and brought a big chunk of soap.
This soap is a beautiful caramel colour and has imprinted festive shapes on the top with a brownish-cinnamon looking sprinkle on top. The soap has a beautiful smell. It’s sweet with a vanilla or caramel undertone and some spicy notes to it too. It smells like Christmas. I mean, I have to give this soap points for having a festive name, look, and smell.
Good work spreading the Christmas cheer lush! I found the soap to be soft and creamy, creating a nice gentle lather and clean. Because it is a bit softer, the soap doesn't last as long as the harder soaps from the range, but still I find soft soaps last a long time anyway.
This isn't a soap I would use all year, but I love using it in the Christmas season because it smells like Christmas and makes my life a bit more festive. Would I purchase again? Yes for sure, it’s not my fav soap from Lush, but its ideal for the holiday season
Tips: Try before you buy. Lush are so good with their samples.
