Lux Exfoliating Scrub Body Wash Review

I really didn't like this too much. It worked but I just couldn't handle the beads in this! :( The smell was amazing though and I would love this if the beads were a different size or just not included at all.

I love how yummy this product smells. It smells delicious. After using this product my skin feels nice and smooth and the smell lingers for awhile which is great. I don't think it exfoliates much at all like it says it does. I like that it is soap free and pH balanced which means that it won't harm your skin. I would use this product again but not as an exfoliater alone.

It's got a nice smell, it's very warm and comforting. I like a really strong exofliant and just found that it doesn't polish my skin as much as i want to. if you're not looking for a strong exfoliant and just more of a body wash, this stuff is great.

Ok, so my reviews all have something about smell in them :) Then again beauty is about pleasing all of your senses. I love the smell of this, and the scent is decent enough to last on your skin once you get out. I find it a bit thin/watery It would be so much easier if it was a bit thicker, then I wouldnt dribble it around everywhere :) Lucky its in the shower

I thought this body wash smelled great in the shower and felt really nice, but I didn't feel as though it helped too much with exfoliating, even when used with a loofa. I probably would use it again for the scent because it smelled great, but not for the specific purpose of exfoliating.

lux body scrub adds a dash of elegance to my shower. I love the packaging however I do wish there was a wider range of fragrances. It has a lovely smell that's not too over powering yet strong enough to leave you smelling fresh. It lathers up really well however I would prefer the exfoliation granules to be much bigger...because they are so small I don't actually feel that this is an exfoliating scrUb. Nonetheless it left my skin feeling really soft and smooth

I love the smell of the tropical scrub, really fruity and leaves you (and the bathroom) smelling great! the only downside is the size of the bottle! I think it goes too fast - I wish they sold it in bigger sizes. Great last minute grab at the supermarket though if you have run out of fancy stuff!

I picked this up a couple of times thinking it was like the non exfoliating Lux body washes. Simply did not read the bottle, just thought aw yay new scents lol

The container is a bit bigger than what your average shampoo and contioner bottle are so doesn't take up much space in the shower or under the bathroom sink :)

They smell divine! I've tried both and I can't fault the amazing smell, as for the exfoliant part I'm not 100% sure that's exactly what it does. The backs of my upper arms are quite dry and flaky at times and while using this product I thought it might help improve the back of my arms it didn't :( however it left my skin feeling moisturised after every wash :)

Once in the shower I used a body puff and placed a small amount and lathered it all over giving myself a good scrub to give the wee beads a good chance to do their job. Simply rinse off and wha lah done.

I do like this product as a body was and will re use it however I don't think it exfoliates.

As a scrub and as a body wash I quite liked this product, however considering its impact on the environment, not so happy. When I bought this body scrub I was excited because of the delicious scent. I'd tried the shea butter one at my sisters before and it made me feel smooth and clean, so expected good results. And I got them. This scrub makes a nice lather and the microbeads aren't too rough on your skin (good when you have sensitive skin like me).

However, I had bought this scrub before Lux's parent company phased out the use of microbeads in their products. So because of that reason I stopped using it. I would still consider re-purchasing it now, but only if convinced that there aren't plastic microbeads in it.
