I own many lipsticks from MAC including cherish, up the amp, candy yum yum, pink plaid, please me and girl about town. these are in a range of finishes including satin, matte and amplified. i like them all, they are worth the price. the matte finishes are very long lasting and a little drying. the satin finishes are more creamy and moisturising. there are so many amazing colours! next i want to try more nice colours such as velvet teddy.

Tips: apply, then blot with tissue and apply again for longer lasting wear.
This was my first time M.A.C lipstick purchase and I am in love! such a nice shade for all skin tones and glides on so smoothly. As it is a satin finish is isn't drying, and feels nice on the lips. It is highly complimentary on my fair skin tone and has long lasting power. Definitely worth the money.
Tips: For a more precise look, use a lip brush to create sharper edges :)
I love the amazing range of colours MAC has in its lipsticks, and they apply really really nicely. I often get dry lips, but this lipstick did not dry my lips out and moisturizing and exfoliating my lips beforehand really helped it to go on nice and smoothly. I still have a really nice bold red MAC lipstick which I bring out on special occasions if I feel particularly daring, and when I do it often becomes a topic of conversation.
Tips: To get more definition, apply first with a lip brush- especially if you want to make your cupid's bow look on point!
Owning a mac lipstick has been on my bucket list since I first got into beauty. Everyone seems to have one or want one (if not many many more).
The Mac lipsticks (minus the LE) comes in a beautiful black bullet cylinder, with a small mac logo on the side. Its simplistic, but iconic design makes this a lipstick you want to show off. Like most lipsticks, you use a twist up mechanism to move the lipstick up the tube, which is standard.
The first MAC lipstick I brought was Brave, which is a pink with a beige undertone, and comes in a satin finish. It has a creamy and smooth formula which glides over my lips, without any tugging! The lipstick smells like .. something sweet! I instantly think vanilla, but I don’t actually know if that’s right. Anyway, the lipstick is long lasting and when it does wear, it wear evenly and gracefully (if you know what I mean).
This lipstick has started a MAC addiction, and I have already purchased a few more!
Even the matte versions are so silky and moisturising on the Lips. They last a long time even after eating and drinking. They do need touching up sometimes but so do all lipsticks. Packaging is gorgeous mad really classy little overpriced but brill overall
Tips: Try the lipstick on your lips because they can be different colour when on your lips to in the tube.
I am a HUGE fan of MAC lipsticks. A HUGE fan, ok? I can honestly say that I have never, ever been unhappy with any lipstick that I have purchased from MAC. The mattes are MATTE and long-lasting, the lustres and satins are gorgeous, the cremesheens are awesome. As long as you are clear about the effect you want and the tone and colour you are after I don't think you will walk away from any MAC counter or store unhappy with your lipstick purchase.
Tips: Buy them ALL. Use the ALL. Love them ALL. Also, if going for long-lasting with a matte finish (any lipstick) blot with a tissue, pat over a light layer of translucent setting powder, and reapply. Boom. For long-lasting with a glossy finish, see process above and throw on a lip gloss of your choice. All love xxx
I'm rather new to the matte lipstick game, and when I found this colour I fell in love. It's so soft, and feminine and looks good as a day lippy as well as night. I've worn it as a bridesmaid and to work. What I love most about this one is I don't necessarily need a lip liner to wear it!
Tips: Use chapstick a few hours or the night before applying this baby, helps calm down any flaky skin on the lips as its a matte lipstick so it shows all the cracks.
I love MAC. They're lipsticks are blimmin great. However I feel like they could be cheaper as they aren't the BEST lipstick out there.. But nonetheless they do the job and have a gorgeous range of colors!
Personal favourites are All fired up, Sin, Ruby Woo, St Germain, Creme de Nude and Heroine. The pigmentation is amazing, especially the retro matte ones. They last for ages, and look so nice in photos
Tips: Lip liners come in handy!
Great lipsticks. I have around 10 colours but find them all to be not intensely matte. Even when I bought the matte colour it made my lips dry and flakey as a posed to the photos that they say. Other then that the colour are great! But you 100% need lip liners for any lipstick in this Mac range
Tips: When using all the lip colours placing a tissue over the top of your lips and then patting on your face powder with a brush either over the tissue to create a matte look or don't even bother using a tissue and just place it straight on your lips for a better defined lip stick, also gloss works with this tip also :)
