By far the best brand I have ever used lipstick-wise. So creamy and pigmented, great colour pay-off! Really long-lasting and doesn't bleed :)

Tips: Pair with a lip-liner and you have a colour that will last all day long
My first MAC lippy, totally amazing, a vibrant red, goes on nice and smooth, even though red is a difficult colour to apply right
Tips: Lip liner is a must for those bold colours, and definitely make sure those lips are super hydrated first!
SOOOO MANY BEAUTIFUL SHADES OF LIPSTICK! They look so slick and very well packaged in the simple traditional slim line black bullet shape. I only like using MAC lipsticks now since i discovered them!
Tips: if you are wearing a matte one make sure your lips and hydrated and exfoliated
I love the colour and packaging of this lipstick, it's long lasting on my lips although as with a lot of lipsticks from the Mac range this can become drying after sometime but for me the colour is just too beautiful for me to want to give it up so I make do by adding a thin layer of lip balm over the top.
Tips: Make sure you have exfoliated your lips well.
At first I didn't really understand what all the fuss about MAC lippies were...now I do! I bought Rebel last year and it remains a favourite. The colour is buildable so you can get a berry red to a rich plum from one lipstick! I've bought a few more since which includes a couple of matte ones. I find the matte ones are more difficult to apply nicely but once you get it right they're beautiful!
Tips: I'd recommend using a lip scrub and a balm before using matte shades as they can be quite drying and are more likely to show up any imperfections on your lips :)
I have the Russian Red and Sounds Like Noise matte lipsticks and I adore the colours, they're both really vibrant, strong colours that get me heaps of compliments. The only problem is that for the price it just doesn't last that long. It's great colour though if you keep it touched up throughout the day.
Tips: Keep it on hand at all times and wait until after you've eaten to put it on because otherwise it'll be gone instantly.
So I own two Lipsticks from the "Retro Matte Collection" I have Ririwoo which was gifted to me by a friend and I also got All fired up. These Lipsticks are as Matte as you can get,I love the Color Payoff and I love the color selection! and of course that yummy smell that mac lipsticks have. The only thing I dont like about the Retro matte lipsticks is that there very dryyyyyying. But that doesnt bother me too much because I LOVE the color hahaha
Tips: Wear MAC's LIP Prep and Prime , before applying the lipstick ! will go on much smoother and not be as drying x
These lipsticks are fantastic. The colour range is incredible and all of the formulas that have tried are fantastic. They last forever on your lips. These are well worth the money.
Tips: As with any lipsticks it is particularly important to moisturise and ex foliate your lips. This is SO vital with these lipsticks especially the Matte shades.
Absolutely love the MAC Range and this lipstick i have a few shades in the matte and retro matte . It has deffinately enabled me to wear on a night out with hardly any touch ups. Super Easy to apply, great pigmentation and i think it is well worth the money
Tips: I did have to try a few shades before i found what, suited me, i advise that you do the same. Also exfoliate lips before applying lipstick
I love MAC lipsticks and own many of them, in varying different finishes.
They have a sickly sweet vanilla scent and are usually very opaque, which is good for my rosey pink lips. Colours like 'Angel' are just wonderful as I usually cannot find colours lighter than my lips which show up on me - but MAC lippies do.
They're not too unaffordable at $40, however if the colour is nothing special I tend to turn to Australis, which at half the price are surprisingly comparable. MAC have a much greater colour selection, with various finishes however so they are supreme in that regard and are my preferred high-end lippie brand.
I'll keep repurchasing MAC as I have done for years as they are high quality, opaque and unique. The Back-2-MAC programme is also a fantastic incentive to keep buying.
