I love the colour and packaging of this lipstick, it's long lasting on my lips although as with a lot of lipsticks from the Mac range this can become drying after sometime but for me the colour is just too beautiful for me to want to give it up so I make do by adding a thin layer of lip balm over the top.

Tips: Make sure you have exfoliated your lips well.
SOOOO MANY BEAUTIFUL SHADES OF LIPSTICK! They look so slick and very well packaged in the simple traditional slim line black bullet shape. I only like using MAC lipsticks now since i discovered them!
Tips: if you are wearing a matte one make sure your lips and hydrated and exfoliated
My first MAC lippy, totally amazing, a vibrant red, goes on nice and smooth, even though red is a difficult colour to apply right
Tips: Lip liner is a must for those bold colours, and definitely make sure those lips are super hydrated first!
By far the best brand I have ever used lipstick-wise. So creamy and pigmented, great colour pay-off! Really long-lasting and doesn't bleed :)
Tips: Pair with a lip-liner and you have a colour that will last all day long
I love MAC lipsticks and own many of them, in varying different finishes.
They have a sickly sweet vanilla scent and are usually very opaque, which is good for my rosey pink lips. Colours like 'Angel' are just wonderful as I usually cannot find colours lighter than my lips which show up on me - but MAC lippies do.
They're not too unaffordable at $40, however if the colour is nothing special I tend to turn to Australis, which at half the price are surprisingly comparable. MAC have a much greater colour selection, with various finishes however so they are supreme in that regard and are my preferred high-end lippie brand.
I'll keep repurchasing MAC as I have done for years as they are high quality, opaque and unique. The Back-2-MAC programme is also a fantastic incentive to keep buying.
i love mac colours can always rely on the colour quality. it is exactly the colour that you intend it to look like, love the variety of different ranges as well.
Tips: to avoid any stains or dryness in the winter apply lipbalm before it really helps it look better. also good to invest in a lip scrub
I myself was a bit skeptical and was wanting to know what the fuss and rave was over Mac Lipsticks. All i can say is I am now a lover of MAC it is pigmented and it last a long time i personally love the creamy lipsticks though REBEL will have to be my favorite at the moment i cant wait to try PURE HEROINE by LORDE. I definitely will repurchase Mac lipsticks.
Tips: Lip liner is a definite and also invest in some lip scrub especially for those who have dry lips and moisturize your lips with some lip balm before applying as it can be quiet drying with the matte lipsticks.
Until recently, I was a lipgloss girl. I was too nervous to try a bright shade of bold colour. I started off with a shade called Coral Bliss. It was a soft pale coral pink/orange. It is a great summer shade with sunkissed skin. I then branched out and started choosing brighter and bolder colours. I am now a Mac addict and can't walk through Duty Free without buying a new one. My handbag is full of little black bullets (a colour for every outfit!).
The different finishes range from matte (great for rich reds that suit flat colour) to shiny glossy cremesheen that make your pale pinks sparkle. Mac makeup artists are so good at helping you to choose the right colours for your skin tone. They apply it in store so you can try before you buy.
Tips: Worth every penny! Don't buy cheap lipstick - once you wear Mac, you will never go back!
Love love love. Creme sheen is my favorite finish in the mac lipstick range. Very creamy and long lasting. They have colours to suit all tones my favorite being cremecup. Its the perfect nude with pink undertone.
Tips: Lip primer all the way
At first I didn't really understand what all the fuss about MAC lippies were...now I do! I bought Rebel last year and it remains a favourite. The colour is buildable so you can get a berry red to a rich plum from one lipstick! I've bought a few more since which includes a couple of matte ones. I find the matte ones are more difficult to apply nicely but once you get it right they're beautiful!
Tips: I'd recommend using a lip scrub and a balm before using matte shades as they can be quite drying and are more likely to show up any imperfections on your lips :)
