I love this foundation, have tried other foundations in between but seem to always end up going back to this. It's easily applied and creates a flawless yet natural look, it really is quite amazing. The only issue I have with it is that I find that occasionally after wearing it, particularly out at night, my skin tends to break out the next day more so then with other foundations. If anyone has any tips or reasoning behind this I would love to know!

Tips: MAC foundation brushes are amazing, they assist this foundation in getting a natural smooth look and make it much easier to apply!
I've had this foundation for quite a while now, and its average coverage! I love the finish it gives though! I set my face with a maybelline fit me powder in 310, and my shade is NW25
Tips: Get a pump for you foundation bottle! so much easier! And be careful when getting your foundation matched, the lady at MAC matched me for nw20 and it was way too light, even I could tell!
This has to be one of my fav foundations. I only really use it when I go out really rather than every day as the coverage is really good and I don't need it daily. It is quite a thicker liquid than any other foundation I've used and so a little goes a long way. I use it sparingly and build it up if I want more coverage. I have tried this with a flat top kusbi brush and my beauty blender and using either gives great even and flawless results. I do have the one with SPF in it so this does give flash back in photos- but perfect for the harsh NZ sun. Overall its a great foundation and it is worth the money.
Tips: Definitely get skin colour matched at a MAC store and use a sponge applicator or flat top brush for an even application.
Isn't overally cakey which is awesome! Nice and light and liquidy which makes it easy to apply. Looks great and has good coverage. You need to apply concealer over any problem areas as it doesn't really cover them too well.
Tips: apply concealer over any problem areas and use a brush to apply
This is the first mac product i had ever used , and i really liked it. I went into mac and had a lovely girl color match me and apply it for me. It gives excellent coverage and lasts really well , i use a flat top kabuki brush to apply and have even used my fingers also . I love that it doesn't feel too thick or heavy on my skin, i would defiantly recommend this to friends x
Tips: always apply primer before foundation for an even more flawless finish and longer lasting x
Mac foundations have many shades to suit W or C skin types. I use nw20 so can only review that shade of this product. On me its full coverage and gives a nice matte finish, no orange tinge to be seen and blends flawlessly to my skin tone. Lasts hours when using a good skin primer, even on my oily areas.
Tips: Wear a primer for a longer more flawless effect
I'm not an overly huge fan of this foundation. I have dry areas on my skin where the product clings to, or it doesn't blend easily into these areas. I also found around t-zone to be quite cakey when using this with a brush, so I have opted to apply these certain areas with my fingers or a sponge. Gives great coverage, but does not reduce the redness in my cheeks entirely. Would definitely recommend this for people with oily/normal skin. On a positive note, the colour range from MAC is excellent. This foundation is the perfect colour for me, and I've had trouble with other brands finding a suitable colour.
Tips: Use with a sponger or fingers with dry areas on your skin. Also, use a very hydrating moisturiser and primer.
This foundation has a really nice texture and finish and has a medium coverage, you can build it up to a full coverage. I like how mac has a huge range of colours. The only thing I don't like is that with all their foundations and concealers; the colours don't always match up. But I really like this foundation.
I got matched by the staff to the wrong shade in this foundation (so annoying!) but never the less, this foundation is great! It's a thick consistency and has a good full coverage but it doesn't look cakey! It looks quite natural for a full coverage foundation and settles into the skin well, it is a matte finish which is very drying as soon as I apply it to my skin so moisturise a lot if you're like me! But I can tell it would be great for oily skin. There's a great amount in the bottle, and you don't use much. There is a great colour selection, even a colour for someone as pale as me! I found this went on well with a angled top brush, flat top brush and a beauty blender! It won't irritate sensitive skin but let the skin breathe well. Annoying that there is no pump, I suggest buying one as you can use it on other products once one runs out! It blends out well and lasts such a good amount of time without budge or transferring, great in the camera and won't give off any shiny patches :)
Tips: If you have very pale skin I suggest getting NC 15 (yellow under tones) rather than NW 15 (pink undertones) which will make your skin look very orangey pink Moisturise lots before putting this on if you have dry skin
I have a love hate relationship with this foundation. It suits my skin tone perfectly in winter the NC15 however I do find it quite drying and heavy ish on my face compared to other foundations, although the coverage it gives is amazing!
Tips: use a primer first, finish with a setting spray for foundation to stay allll day and night (:
