This simple hair mascara solves the grey strand problem! I stopped colouring my hair years ago, and I love my natural shade, but the grey coming through is a bit annoying.

I found this very easy to use, I just applied it over my greys, It covered them immediately. It didn't come off until I shampooed, and even then I didn't notice any pigment in the shower.

Recommend to those with grey strands they'd rather not see!

This product is perfect for those with a few grey strands, if you're over 10-15% grey you're probably going to want a more permanent solution.

I found it easy to apply, and really unnoticable once dry - its not like the horror of spray-on hair for bald men! It'd be perfect for evenings out, and weekends away as its small enough to fit in your bag.

I would definitely recommend it to those with a small amount of greys - if you have a lot of greys this would be great in a cover-up emergency, but wouldn't be a great long-term solution.

This is my first time trying a product like this but after a very stressful time the last couple of years I wanted something to help my thinning hair look like it used to, I used the dark brown and it really works even on the silvers, it stayed on pretty well for a few days until next hair wash day and it didn't seem to rub off on my pillowcase. I did find it a little difficult with the mascara like brush to coat the roots without getting the ends also.

I use this in between hairdresser appointments as a quick easy way to fix greys temporarily. It’s targeted as you brush straight on so easier to apply than some of the sprays out there.

Well, I had my doubts. I really doubted if this item would do what it said. I’ve used several products claiming to cover greys, including a hair mascara in the past. At best, they worked but were so messy it made me reluctant to use again. However, with this I was pleasantly surprised! Firstly, the wand is more precise than others I’ve used. It was more like a comb, making it easy to work into the hairline and blur out. Additionally, no fallout or sprays going everywhere! My boyfriend agreed with me that the effect was natural and he couldn’t detect it on my hair and no funny odour. I’ve not washed my hair for 3 days, and it’s definitely worn off a bit, but not completely and I’m sure I could reapply without any buildup or cakeyness. There has been no flaking in those 3 days either or mess on my pillowcase and it hasn’t added oil or grease to my hairline. My downsides would be you’ll need to be careful when you choose your colour - with so many options it suggests they’re all very different so it could be hard to find an exact match, and make sure you wipe the comb before you apply. It coats too much the first time!

Bottom line - I love it! It has given me a lot of confidence to go longer between colourings so that’s a win from me.

I have tried a few Instant grey retouchers/concealers but I think this might have to be the one! I am so impressed with it and how it covers well and actually stayed on longer than expected.

The instructions were easy to follow and the brush is a stiff plastic and not like an actual mascara brush which I actually found better. The product was so easy to apply and I found the next day if I didn't wash my hair in the shower it actually still stayed coloured and didn't need a touch up which for me made life easy!

It didn't take any longer than my usual hair routine before leaving home to do which was great.

I really liked this one from L’Oreal. When I first put it on, it was like putting gel in my hair - it looked wet and was sticky. Luckily I read the instructions re combing and waiting. After doing this, my hair looked fine and you couldn’t tell I was wearing it.

Pro’s: colour match was spot on. You couldn’t see the product at all! Grey coverage was 100% so I was extremely happy with that. It’s reasonably easy to apply, and the instructions are very clear.

Con’s: really only one downside is that you have to comb the product through. So if you’ve put your hair up and spot any lingering ‘sparkles’, you wouldn’t be able to just do a touch up with your hair up. You would need to take it down, use the product and start again.

Overall, I really liked this and will be using it during the between salon visits weeks.

The product seems super simple. A mascara brush for your greys. It comes in handy packaging, discreet and easy to apply. Be cautious when opening it for the first time as it tends to 'spit' when opened. it was easy to apply with the little plastic brush. and went on almost like I had highlights. It blended reasonably well. Unfortunately, the 'dark brown' shade was quite dark so I would definitely recommend that you go one shade down. The product sets pretty quickly so you can't much around but it was almost better when it had as I could comb it out a little bit which helped it blend further. Overall its a pretty good product and I would purchase this product to have on hand for emergencies.

This product would work well for scattered greys (as it proclaims!) I have dyed dark hair with natural light hair so the spray version works much better for me.

It did leave the covered hair a bit stiff and not so nice to to the touch but you cannot tell by looking at your hair so unless someone is running their hands through your hair you are fine!

The applicator is easy to use (recommend a headband to hold your hair back to get easy access to your temple hair)
