I received the Lilac option which is a very pretty purple. The remover has an ergonomic heart-like shape and even though it's smooth and not rubbery it doesn't slip out of the hand. After use, it's suggested to store in the cardboard packaging it came in - I get it's more environmentally friendly, but that's probably not going to outlast the remover itself.
Does it work? Yes. Although my lower legs became incredibly itchy a day after use (perhaps I did not use enough moisturiser), other areas did not have the same problem. The skin is left silky smooth. It does take longer than shaving, but not having to do it in the shower is a bonus. It also gives a great exfoliation. I found that this works best on short hairs and slightly longer, fine hairs. I tested a patch on my husband's leg and it took a lot longer to work.
I'll keep using this, but make sure I slather in moisturiser in the future.
Stoked to have been selected for this trial. Have seen similar products on the market but got my chance to try it.
Received the Lilac purple shade. It looks cute. Followed the instructions on the box and attempted to use. I had not hair removed my arms so there was a lot to work with. It didn't pull on my arm hairs per se but did feel a bit like buffing it into non existence. I still have some hair in patches it's not completely smooth like I would have expected. Felt more like an exfoliating product than a hair remover.
As weird as this sounds, I like it for knuckle and toe hair removal. Easy and effective on these areas. I did try on my leg as it was normal regrowth from shaving. Appeared to perform better on shorter hairs.
Compared to my normal form of hair removal for my arms (depilatory cream) this didn't make the cut. It would be faster and less effort to use my other method than using the crystal hair remover.
Tips: May be better for just regrowth or smaller areas.
