Manicare Crystal Hair Remover

Holy heck where do I start, this little gadget is AMAZING! I used it the day I received, It’s so easy to use and the results are great. I used it on my legs, gave it a rinse under warm water like it said to do, waited for it to dry and tried it on my face removing the peach fuzz I’ve grown to dislike! The results are unbelievable leaving my skin feeling so soft and smooth. This is definitely one product I will always have now, I’m buying my Daughter one before she adopts this one as her own! I’m also going away on holiday for 2 weeks so now I don’t need to worry about taking a razor with me or having to buy one when we land because I’ll have my crystal hair remover with me!

This is a great product if your wanting to remove fine hairs and have smooth and shiny skin afterwards without barely any work. It is so easy to use and does get into hard to get areas. I love the design of it and it really does work. My skin has honestly never been smoother I highly recommend

Before using this I was unsure if it would actually work as I had tried things similar and much to my surprise it did and done a very good job. It was easy to use and easy to clean afterwards , exfoliates very well and does remove that hair. I would definitely buy another one of these as a back up , so handy and easy to store away due to size. I’ve been using this every morning / second morning and my legs are soo smooth and not dry. I think the price of these is great compared to the price of hair removal creams and razors and you can bring this anywhere

I am currently in the process of doing laser and even though I don't have too much hair it's fine and it still needs to be removed and the area needs to be exfoliated before sessions and I find this tool is the perfect thing to do both. I think even post laser hairs will not be entirely gone but this will be perfect for maintenance instead of shaving. My legs have never been as soft as they were post using this, my man was very pleased. I absolutely love it and have been raving about it to everyone I know.

I have tried a number of hair removal option — shaving, waxing, cream, epilator, IPL — and not erasing! I have been wanting to try it for a number of months, but was quite sceptical.

When I pulled the crystal out of the box, I was very surprised to see a rather large nail file claiming to remove my leg hairs!! So I quickly read how to use it, and did a couple of rounds on my leg. And as my son says “oh my GOOOOOODNESS”. I am converted.

I would usually epilate my legs, which is slightly painful, and leaves me all blotchy where the hair follicle was before getting plucked out. It is also usually night time when I remember to epilate my legs, so that’s not very good when you have just put the Toddler to bed.

But this hand held piece of magic doesn’t give me any reactions, pain, or noise. It give you smooth, “exfoliated”, hair-free skin. I even did a few sneaky rounds on my husbands hairy hand…hair eradicated.

A week later, I have 1-2mm regrown. Quickly tested the Crystal in this little guys…GONE.

I was very excited to trial this product, I had seen in advertised online for ages and had been very tempted. However, I thought there is no way that works. I can say for an absolute fact it works, and works well.

The first time I used it I was so excited. I used it on dry skin. Results were very smooth! Definitely exfoliates too. You can see the dry skin on your legs, kinda gross but satisfying.

Few things I found. . .It didn't work for me if my skin was wet. I did get a little itchy 2 days after using. I found using moisturizer straight after rinsing worked better. But haven't had it for long enough to say it doesn't itch at all. I'll keep trialing. I did find it to be a lot of rubbing to get it perfect and not miss spots. I wish part of it had a curve as it is hard to do front of shins as it's very flat and hard. I liked the shape, made it easy to grip and hold when using.

Over all very impressed and I would use and purchase again!

I received the Lilac option which is a very pretty purple. The remover has an ergonomic heart-like shape and even though it's smooth and not rubbery it doesn't slip out of the hand. After use, it's suggested to store in the cardboard packaging it came in - I get it's more environmentally friendly, but that's probably not going to outlast the remover itself.

Does it work? Yes. Although my lower legs became incredibly itchy a day after use (perhaps I did not use enough moisturiser), other areas did not have the same problem. The skin is left silky smooth. It does take longer than shaving, but not having to do it in the shower is a bonus. It also gives a great exfoliation. I found that this works best on short hairs and slightly longer, fine hairs. I tested a patch on my husband's leg and it took a lot longer to work.

I'll keep using this, but make sure I slather in moisturiser in the future.

Love this product, used it twice and it worked better the second time, operator knowledge. Make sure you skin is freshly cleansed, gentle movements over the area got the nest results. I went into this trial not really knowing what to expect, considering I have only ever shaved before and never even heard of a crystal hair remover. Well, I have been pleasantly surprised! The hair remover I received is sleek, black and kind of shaped like a computer mouse, which makes it comfortable to hold and easy to get into hard spots. When I first felt the crystal surface with my hand it was quite rough and wondered if it would hurt to use, but this product is actually quite painless! Using slow, small scrubbing motions I found worked best for me, with moderate pressure which didn't irritate my skin at all! It definitely worked as an exfoliant, taking the top dead layer of skin off alongside all the hair, leaving my skin looking admittedly more pale, but hairless and incredibly smooth! This is definitely something you have to commit a certain amount of time to, rather then a quick shave that some may be used to but I found the crystal hair remover very effective and user friendly. It may be gross, but I even tried it on my fathers hairy legs and it worked just as well, so if there's any men reading, it's kind of a one size fits all kind of thing! Overall, a very useful and effective product for those who may struggle with strawberry legs or cutting yourself whilst shaving. :)
