Not sure how to review a sharpener other than saying it’s good, sharpens pencils and stuff. Pretty useful to have two sides for different size pencils of course. I’ve had mine for years and years and it’s still going strong. Take off the clear plastic lid when your sharpener is full to get rid of the shavings that’s been collected. Neat and nifty.

This is a very non-exciting product but it is certainly an essential item to have. It's like having toilet paper you need it but it's not a want! I love it because I have several jumbo pencils and of course use a lot of normal size liners so having both size holes in one is awesome. It totally lives up to what its intended purpose is and is a really good price.
This dual sharpener has come in handy when travelling. I like that I only need the one sharpener to cover my eye, lips and other facial pencils. The blades still seem sharp after a lot of use and can be easily cleaned with a tooth pick or similar to remove any excess product. The lid is clear so you can see when you need to empty the shavings. My pencils ends are sharp too without having to over sharpen to get a nice pointy end.
I have quite a few tools from Manicure and I've found them to be very good. This is no exception, as it's a great quality sharpener from Manicure.
I've had this for so many years and it's still as good as the day I got it! It's very durable and easy to use. Great to just pop in your cosmetic bag.
It's perfect for sharpening your eye liner. It's always done a good job of this and is affordable - you can buy this from most supermarkets or pharmacies.
I would definitely recommend this tool, as it's been great quality and it's my go-to sharpener.
Cheap and dependable, I love using this sharpener.
There is nothing worse than gently sharpening your favourite eye liner only to have a chunk disappear inside a blunt sharpener. There are cheaper tools out there - e.g. sharpeners from the $2 Shop, but this is worth the investment.
I bought my Manicare Cosmetic Pencil Sharpener years ago, and it’s still going strong.
I did remove both the top and bottom clear plastic covers, as I found having the sharpenings in there became messy and difficult to clean. Instead, I store my sharpener in a little reusable bag, and just sharpen my pencils over a bin whenever I need to.
Cleaning the sharpener is a breeze with a cotton bud and a little isopropyl alcohol or surgical spirits. Simply wet the cotton bud and twirl it around inside the sharpening barrel, making sure to go in the opposite direction than you would if you were sharpening a pencil. Rub the other (clean) side of the cotton bud dipped in isopropyl alcohol or surgical spirits over the top of the blades, and voila, sharpener is clean and sanitised.
Tips: Clean regularly so that it lasts longer before needing to be replaced.
I received this in the Incredible Eyes Beauty Box, which has since sold out. This dual sharpener comes with a standard size sharpener slot, and a larger size, as well as a clear plastic case to catch the shavings. Both sides can be opened to empty out shavings.
The standard-sized sharpener slot works pretty well. It has sharpened my makeup pencils without splitting the leads. However, the big fault with this sharpener is that the larger slot is too small for any of my larger makeup pencils. I have several, and none of them fit it, so that side is useless.
Another drawback is that both sides of the sharpener often pop off when you use it, spilling shavings everywhere. This is not ideal when sharpening a red lip-liner pencil!
So unfortunately I cannot recommend this sharpener.
I have to say this is the best 11.99 I have spent for a long time. This sharpener takes 3 sizes actually. Your typical eye liner or lip liner pencil, your larger pencils like chubby lippies and then in the big hole there is a little insert which if you pull it out it enables you to sharpen an even bigger pencil.
I found this sharpener to sharpen to a nice point and it doesn't break the lead.
It comes with a cover to collect the shavings so there is no mess. I have recommended this to many people and have heard great feedback about it.
Tips: Keep clean to ensure a good sharpen.
I rated this product as average as i believe that although it is and was very needed and handy and still works well, the workmanship could be improved. It sharpens well and i have had no issues with even the softest pencils going through and coming out just fine and well sharpened, My only gripe is the fact that the chamber that collects all the clippings after a while becomes loose and there isnt much that can be done to it except make sure you store it well enough where you dont lose the top. I would recommend this product for its use but feel that there may be a better product out there that are a bit more stronger. Sleek Colour, Great blades and a very affordable buy this is. Its a good investment and i guess if you buy a new one once a year it pretty much earns its price.
Tips: If/when the lid stops clipping in well, you can use a small hair tie or rubber band to keep it in place, this works for me :)
This is a staple in my makeup bag. There's not too much to differentiate it from other sharpeners however I do find the plastic covering very handy, there's nothing worse than loose bits of sharpening going everywhere and ending up with black smears all over everything. It sharpens well, what more can I say!
