I don't often curl my lashes as my natural ones are quite long and curled, however when I use false lashes I always use a curler to blend the false set in with my natural lashes. These are a staple tool for me and for the price you can't beat it. I've never found them to not work or be painful.

I've had these for virtually my whole makeup wearing life. They're not the highest quality lash curlers so yes, you do need to buy new ones when the pads start to get ragged and there are now lots of mascaras that do a great job with curling but these are good for really opening up the eye and I'll always have a pair in my beauty bag. Sometimes if you have really short or sparse lashes it's hard to get a grasp and you can end up pinching your eye so take your time with it!
Tips: Warm them up with your hairdryer (don't get them too hot or you'll burn yourself) to help get a really nice, long lasting curl.
The best I have tried, and I have tried Revlon, Napoleon Perdis and these. I don't know what it is exactly that makes them so great, but I feel it has something to do with the ring type handles so you can put a thumb and index finger in each hole and apply to the lashes, creating the perfect pinch. Whereas I find with the Napoleon ones they have a paddle handle which I can never obtain the perfect grip from, therefore not being able to squeeze properly. You also get an extra rubber liner in the Manicare packet, and you can buy these on their own as well! I will always remain a user of these.
Tips: Once you have curled, applied mascara, eyeliner etc, finish off by giving the lashes another light curl over the top. Va va voom
For someone like me who fairly boring lashes that are neither long nor thick I need any help I can get. I use my curler almost every time I am wearing mascara (only time I dont is if im rushing & forget) This is easy to use & the results are eye opening!
Tips: *For ladies who like to get lash extentions - I was told have you have fairly short thin lashes like mine using the curler just before your appointment for application will make their job easier & give you better results.
Brought these thinking how hard can it be. Seems I needed to practice a bit. So after reading the recommended how to, also a few YouTube clips, I finally have the skills to curl.... Wahooo!
Put top lashes in on the wee rest part and squeeze. Loosen the grip & slide down a fraction and squeeze again. Do this a couple more times :)
Now that I curl before putting mascara on, and curling down the lash, I get a better curl. When you curl once you have mascara on, your lashes can get stuck! Mine did opps.
Tips: Be careful! Don't quickly squeeze incase you have a bit of eyelid on the curler "ouch" do as instructed on review description. :)
I find this curler to work completely fine. I have long eyelashes and the curler opens up my eyes and I absolutely love it!
Tips: Make sure you clean them otherwise the excess mascara can make them sticky and harder to curl.
I really love this. Curling your lashes is a great way to make your eyes look bigger, more awake and sexier ;p
A great feature about these curlers is that thy have a rubber protection on the dominant handle so your finger doesn't get sore from prolonged use. The pads that are on the curler - where you out your eyelashes, are aft yet tough. I've beer had an issue with my eyelashes snapping or catching in them when using this.
I like I curl my lashes before mascara, apply mascara, curl them and then set the curl with another application of mascara.
Unlike other brands of eyelash curlers I've used, these don't make my lashes clump. The result I get is natural but more dramatic than if I just wear mascara.
When these bite the dust I won't hesitate to purchase another set, even though I don't curl my lashes daily. These are great and I recommend them. They last you a long time and work well :)
I always have one of these in my makeup kit, they give my eyes that extra pop when I'm doing my eye makeup, this just adds that finishing touch and makes me feel more feminine because my eyelashes arent naturally curly. I have used the cheaper brands that you can get from $2 stores for $3. What I like about this brand of curlers is that the spring is alot stronger so it would last longer than a cheaper brand which in turn makes this more value for your money.
Tips: Always replace the sponge part in your curlers before they start to thin out, I learnt the hard way that if you dont its exactly like a scissors and cuts them in half.
I'd never apply mascara without giving my lashes a good curl and i absolutely love this curler.
It gently grasps all my lashes in one go, with a couple of squeezes and a 5-10 second hold, I'm left with crimp free, perfectly curled lashes that last all day. If you're stuck in the drug store lash curler rut, try these out cause they're simply amazing.
I have used alsorts of eyelash curlers in my past, this is the only one that will curl my stubborn straight eyelashes! It comes with a spare eyelash pad, its very comfortable to place and hold, i recommend this curler for all the makeup girls, they help fan out your eyelashes and open up the eye area
Tips: Draw a line on the inside of where your eyelid touches the curler with your eyeliner pencil. Curl your eyelashes as normal but hold it there for 30 seconds and vola you have a curled eyelash with eyeliner ontop of your lid :-)
