Good value for money and does what you need it to. I like how it tells you which side first and then next for amateurs like me. The enamel gives is strong and you don't need to use it too long to get the desired effect. The only downside is that the buffer doesn't last as long as others of similar pricing but it is easy to hold and small and light enough to carry around in your make up bag.

Tips: Just make sure you note how long on each side you're doing your nails on to ensure an even finish on your nails. I try to keep my strokes consistent per finger
I really like this buffer. The shape makes it easy to hold and use. The numbered sides mean you don't need to try and remember which colour is next. For a reasonably cheap product it does a really good job at leaving nails smooth and shiny and well primed for painting. Only down side is the first two sides don't last quite as long as the 3rd and 4th.
Love This!
Each section is a different color and numbered so you know which order to go in haha! It works nicely on my nails and after the final step my nails always look shiny as if I had a light coat of clear polish on them.
For a cheap buffer it does a great job.
I will buy more of these in the future when i need to.
When I purchased this it was on sale for $5 so great price. My nails are quite hard and have a few ridges on them and i found the side that is supposed to remove ridges wasn't rough enough to do that. The other sides of the block are great though. Really good to use before using polish as it gives a nice clean surface. The block is super easy to hold and control. The actual filing pads wear down pretty quickly so I've found myself repurchasing this a few times but for the price it isn't that big of a deal and I'll continue using this.
I had been using other brands of 4 way buffers for a few years, and found them really good, so I saw this on BR being reviewed and purchased from Farmers, because I was looking for a new one anyway. The price is reasonable, $10.99 but if you can get it on special at Farmers, all good! The four steps are printed on the sides of the buffer, which is really helpful, those other brands I used didn't have anything printed on them. Step 1. File nail. Step 2. Remove ridges. Step 3. Buff and smooth. Step 4. Polish and shine. My nails ended up nicely shaped, buffed and shiny after using this buffer. I would recommend to everyone. The only complaint would be that step 1 wears out sooner than the other steps.
Tips: When using step 2 for removing any ridges, don't rub too vigorously on thin nails, just use monthly. Use step 3 for buffing before applying nail polish. You can use step 4 daily for nicely polished shiny nails.
I brought this item after seeing a friend’s nails. They were so shiny and they were natural! I love wearing nail polish, but with work most the time it is just not practical so this seemed like a good alternative to care and maintain my nails.
This was the first nail buffer I had every used, I loved how easy it was to understand and apply. This item is in a rectangle shape, and feels soft, like it has a sponge inside it. The size makes it easy to hold and grip while buffing each nail, plus it’s easy to take with you if you’re going somewhere. Each side is a different colour, with a different number and label on it. Making it easy to know the process that needs to occur for your nails to shine like diamonds. I find the product really gentle on my nails, and really effective at giving them a nice sheen. Additionally the item itself is really affordable, and easy to locate. I purchased mine from farmers, and will be buying it again!
Okay so it takes some time to really get your nails looking amazing, but boy is it worth it. I hate wearing nail polish all of the time because I know it's so bad for my nails, so this is the second best thing to give them shine and make them look good. Take a day off every once in a while to use this on your nails, it's worth it, I promise.
Tips: Be careful with how hard you grip it, I did ruin my first one because I got a bit too aggressive and a couple of the little pads came off.
The file side of the 4-way buffer is very subtle and I found the emery board wore away very quickly... so this product is not the best for the file. The other 3 sides however work really really well. I use this every time I do a manicure. The sides are numbered so you know what order to use them. This product is very good for smoothing nails. My nails peel and this product smooths them over ready for painting.
Tips: Dont reply on this product for the file - you will need to purchase a separate emery board.
I found myself feeling a bit disappointed after using this product as I felt that not every side of the 4-way buffer did its job properly. Step 1: file, this was honestly the worst file I've ever used because it simply didn't file much of my nail and it took a long time to use. I just thought that I already had files that would work so much better than this one. Step 2: Remove ridges. Again, I felt like I already had a similar product within the same price margin that did a much better job at removing ridges. Step 3: Buff and Smooth, this side DID work well, my nails felt really smooth after using this side and once I did Step 4: polish and shine they felt really good and I was left with lovely shiny nails! So overall I found that the first 2 steps could be improved but for the price of the product it was ok.
Tips: The back of the packet the buffer comes in has great instructions, you can follow them :)
This buffer is easy to use, though I prefer a regular file. The pads wear out quite quickly but the block is easy to handle. Next time I'll try a different brand, but this is a pretty cheap option that gets the job done.
