I was surprised at how well this worked! When I received it in the post, I was concerned that’ll be harsh on the skin as touching it, it felt rough on my hands. When I used it on my feet it didn’t hurt at all, it wasn’t even uncomfortable which surprised me. It worked really well in smoothing my feet and removing dead skin. I would definitely recommend. I have only tried it dry but will try using it in the shower next time.

Tips: Apply moisturiser afterwards
This really is a great product! Has a rough side for removing hard skin and calluses and a smooth side for smoothing out the skin afterwards. It made my heels and feet feel smooth, I had no rough bits left like I do using a normal pedi paddle. It felt like a sturdy tool and not flimsy. Would definitely recommend it to people with the roughest of feet as I think they will be impressed
Tips: Apply some moisturiser to your feet afterwards and you will feel lush enough to dance barefoot in the street!
Great tool! It’s got two sides, one for the hard core at heart, and one for those who are a little softer in nature. It’s easy to use and has a great sized handle. The result after using is soft supple heels - great if you’re prone to cracked heels
Taking this out of the box before even trying it, my first thoughts were - I love the handle! It is very comfortable to hold and it feels luxurious (just as the box says). One side is a lot more gentle than the other which is great to use on softer areas of the foot. With other foot files, I find that the grit gets filled up fast and it doesn't take long for the file to stop working - not with this one! I found that the grit on this file doesn't get as clogged as others that I have used in the past. A big tick from me!
Was excited to trial this product. My feet needed the care, to be honest I had been putting it off so the first use was a good baseline test. Easily powered through the bad state my heels were in and with minimal amount of effort. The rough side was great to get through the initial build up. The less gritty side to finish the job. Noticed a difference immediately. Felt like I had been for a pedi. Which is great timing as money is tight at the moment and now I don't have to sacrifice foot self care on account of budget.
Stoked I can now get rid of pumice as I have this instead. Must buy for this year, highly recommend.
Honestly the thing didn't look like much, mostly plastic and the glue wasn't very intact on the inside, when you squeeze it it makes a popping sound. BUT, apart from this, the file itself worked wonders, I only used it for 10 sec on the rough side then another few more sec with the fine side and my skin was smooth for a good week. Surprisingly good little tool and now I use this every week on my heels too! (ps. I used it dry)
Tips: always use the rough side first, then the fine side, brush off the dead skin and moisturise!
The pediPRO callus file arrived in a somewhat plain plastic box, nothing too fancy. At first glance this could have been just another standard foot file, however the glint of silver drew my eye - when you notice the Diamondcel grit pad you can tell this file really means business! And boy did it deliver!
One touch of the Diamondcel grit confirms the intensity of this file, the coarse raised bumps are so rough they even cling to the grooves on your fingers. The finer side of the file does feel similar to the texture of a pumice stone, but the metal look does remind me of a mini cheese grater.
I firstly tried out the file dry, on the coarse side - I was blown away with the amount of dry skin turning to dust from my heels! It took mere minutes to transform my heel and reveal the smooth soft layer. I finished off with the fine side to buff and fine tune the sensitive soft areas on the side of my heel.
I did also try the pediPRO in the shower but I found it easier to monitor the amount of dry skin removal and control the intensity when the file was dry, I was wary of shaving off too much skin.
I really love the slim profile of the file and the soft touch handle, it is not big or bulky and sits comfortably in the hand - it doesn’t slip even whilst using in water.
I was most impressed with the end result, especially considering it was painless and only took mere minutes to achieve. Overall I would recommend the pediPRO to any women or man who wants soft feet with no fuss, this is a great little tool at an affordable price point to keep in your beauty tool kit.
Tips: File and buff your heels and surrounding areas before you apply fake tan - the smoother skin will help with blending and the tan will not settle in the cracks.
Moisturize with a foot balm after buffing to lock in the moisturize and keep your feet softer for longer.
What a great product. Never thought to use one before now I'm glad I was chosen to trial this.
I have very dry heels and this worked wonders in removing the dry skin and making them smooth.
The packaging is nice, simple but effective. It is self explanatory, you don't need instructions to use it. One side is course the other fine. The grip is nice although would be nicer with a round or more ergonomic handle.
I'm not sure on the price of these but I'd be willing to pay up to $30.
Tips: Don't use on normal skin, it can be uncomfortable.
So, in all honesty, my feet are never going to win any beauty awards. My toes are small and cute but after breaking several of them more than once my feet are looking a bit mangled. I have bones doing weird pokey-outy things now which have left me with hardened areas of skin and callouses. So, I gave this odd paddle contraption a go. Initially it felt weird because this was a new sensory sensation and I'm just one of those people that finds new things/feelings a bit overwhelming. Once I got over myself, I found this actually did make a difference to my lumps and bumps. Start with the course side with the nodules to get through the harder top layers of skin and then switch to the smoother side to gently finish the process. You can use this wet or dry and it's really easy to rinse clean. The handle makes it comfortable to grip and apply your desired pressure. If you want smoother hooves, this is the product for you.
Tips: Start slow and moisturize afterwards for softness.
I didn't think anything could pull me away from my battery operated foot file - especially not an old fashioned manual one...and yet here I am, leaving a rave review!
This file looks like a foot file. It's packaging is basic. It has a little window inviting you to 'touch me'. I did. And omg it made me feel 'ewwww', its so coarse and the tactile equivilent of nails-on-a-chalkboard.
I set to work on dry feet, because I'm gross and like to see the foot dust fly. And boy oh boys doth it fly!
The coarse side roughs away hard skin in seconds with minimal effort, and it strangely feels nice. The smooth side buffs it all out for smooth, soft feet.
It's at a good price point, it's easy to use and is quite possibly the most effective file I've used. GO AND BUY ONE!
