This was the first time I have used an electric cleansing brush. I have always been curious about the foreo Luna electric cleanser so I was keen to see what this one was like. I have been using this electric cleanser for about one week and normally use it at night while in the shower. Overall I have not noticed a lot of difference to my skin since using the cleansing brush. I normally just use my fingers to cleanse my face, with no other tools. I have combination oily skin and have been using this with a foaming cleanser. My skin felt fresh and clean afterwards, but also not any different to cleansing without this brush.
The cleansing brush is very compact. It fits nicely into the palm of your hand and is nice and easy to hold. The silicone brush is gentle on your skin when used with plenty of cleanser. I tried using it with just plain water and felt that it was harsh on my skin. When used with cleanser the brush wasn’t harsh and my skin didn’t feel like it was stripped of its natural oils.
This brush has a heating function that heats to 40 deg Celsius. However when using it in the shower I didn’t notice or feel the heat. Maybe this was because I could already feel the heat of the water from the shower.
One thing that I also noticed that was that I had to use a lot more cleanser than normal in order to get the cleanser foaming. I had to use double or triple the amount of cleanser that I normally use.
Overall I didn’t notice a lot of different results with using this cleansing brush. However I will continue to use it for longer to see if there are long term results.
Overall it was okay to use, however I didn't find it to be game changing in terms of adding to my skin care routine. I find that just using my hands to cleanse my skin is a lot easier than using this. My face didn't feel that much cleaner or felt like the product went in deeper into my skin so probably wouldn't use this very often
