Maybelline Great Lash Mascara Review

This is a great little mascara for the price. Dependable, easy to use and doesn't clog or stick.

This is the mascara I keep in my bag for emergencies!

I liked at first how this went on and with really light coloured eyelashes it was a distinct improvement but unfortunately I made a bit of a mess and lashes became rather good friends with each other

This is okay during the day for a short time, as it smudges under the eyes and leaves black mascara. Would use heaps, better when applied lightly an less. Would rather buy a better quality even if you have to spend more.

Love this mascara! Always have always will! Gives me great definition when I'm going for a neutral everyday look :)

I bought this as a cheap alternative after reading some good reviews of it in a magazine but it wasnt as good as other mascaras of a similar quality, really its worth spending $10 more to get something a bit more decent. A lot of it comes out and its really hard to get a nice even coat without it smudging somewhere. If you apply it very patiently you can get good results but its really not good for everyday use (as someone that loves using mascara - it would just annoy me). It has a weird brush too...kinda wish I bought another mascara really

Mascara is definitely a staple piece in my makeup bag. I will never leave the house without wearing it so I am generally quite critical with what mascaras I use. The Maybelline Great Lash was a reasonably good purchase, however I wasn't expecting much from my quick supermarket bargain in the first place. One thing I noticed straight away was its clumping, which is something it claimed not to do. Reading through the comments I'm not the only one who thinks this. Saying that, clumping isn't a major issue for me as I have quite thin eyelashes and prefer the extra bit of volume, unless it is excessive which the Maybelline one isn't. My main issue with the product is the struggle it is to get off. I found myself with black smudges under my eyes at the end of the day which were a real difficulty to remove. However I LOVED the length it gave my eyelashes, which was what made me wear it several time!

Not my favourite mascara from maybelline, I dont like the brush as it left clumpy lumps and my eyelashes were sticky and clumpy and felt heavy. As for the mascara its self it is a mission to get off! Would recommend maybelline collossal

I bought the waterproof version and I had horrific panda eyes after an hour! It did give a little length... but definitely not worth walking around looking like mess all night.

I have been using this mascara for over a year now, and absolutely love it! It makes my lashes fuller, and longer and I have had various compliments since wearing it. I have recommended it to friends, and they also love it!

I started using this mascara about 2 months ago, and while it does a beautiful job of making my eyelashs long and black, I have found that it very easily leaves clumps of product on your lashes. However this can easily be removed by using a clean mascara brush... I like some of my other mascaras a lot more, but this is good enough for the small price.
