Maybelline Volum' Express the Colossal Review

I found this to be a good average mascara, tends to get clumpy quickly and very easy to apply too much. Fantastic if you use with Maybeline Falsies.

Maybelline mascaras don't usually "impress" me (I much prefer Covergirl) and this mascara wasn't any different. I find they all have the same formula, just different brushes that don't make any difference.

However, I use this as my everyday mascara as it gives natural looking lashes - they look long and black... but this mascara gives absolutely no volume. It doesn't smudge or flake though which is great.

I picked this up at a make-up sale for $10 which is a good price for it, and it's a way better alternative to cheap brands (jordana, bys, australis, $1 store brands). If you can get it at that price then give it a try, especially if you were looking for a good natural/everyday mascara and weren't looking to achieve voluminous lashes.

This mascara is very volumising. The volume will hold throughout the day. I use the waterproof version because I easily get watery eyes. I prefer this mascara more than the falsies. This mascara also does not smudge on me. Most people will probably need 1 coat only but for my Asian straight lashes I can get away with up to maximum 2 coats. Be aware though that more than 2 coats will bring the volume down, this probably depends on how much lashes you've got and how much product it can take. This is my favourite mascara out of all Maybelline mascaras!

Cheap, affordable and does a great job! I have used many mascara's and this one is a favourite no catch just does a great job and holds the lashes where you put them

I love love love this product. I've been using it over and over for at least a year. It makes your lashes bold and beautiful and makes your eyes POP!

I like this product, I have long lashes as it is, this just made them look longer and fuller. I like the colour too, so easy to find! I tend to loose things often. And it isn't clumpy, so didn't have the horrible bits all through your lashes

This mascara is great. It doesn't clump which I like and the application wand gets right to the corners. Another thing that keeps me buying this brand is that it stays on all day and it just makes your eyes pop. Recommended!

I love how this mascara extends my lashes so much and makes it long, dark and full and it is at a reasonable price for a mascara.

I'm a sucker for Maybelline mascara - it might not be the most expensive brand, but they sure know what they're doing! I've been using Colossal Volume for a few years now, prior I would use Maybelline Falsies but this is so much better.

I love that it doesn't dry stiff and crunchy, my lashes stay softer and it doesn't all clump together. You really only need 1-2 coats.

I prefer the non-waterproof so I can wash it off easily in the shower. I've recommended this product on my blog before too!
