Max Factor 2000 Calorie Mascara Review

I purchased this mascara when I couldn't find the usual max factor mascara was sold out.. I thought this one all sounded great but in reality I was quite let down, I found that it would smudge and I defiantly didn't notice 300% more volume.. It is fine for day wear but gives nothing special to the lashes, I also found that it clumped up quite a bit. I would not recommend which is a shame because I have been so impressed with other max factor mascaras

Absolute love this mascara, it does what it says it's going to do, it doesn't smudge or give you panda rings under your eyes! And it's so easy to remove. It lets you build your lashes without clumping of flaking. Great volume and length. The only thing I do find is after about 8 weeks I find it starts to dry out and you have to work a little harder to get it on! Other than that it's a fab mascara!

I am still on the hunt to find the perfect mascara max factor do a great range of make up and mascaras and this product was no exception.

I always get the blackest black I can find to make my lashes stand out whether its during the day or night. What's great about this mascara is that its colour,and consistency is nice and rich but doesn't go on clumpy.

It definitely lengthened my lashes and gave them some extra volume, the brush was your run of the mill straighter mascara wand. Nothing too fancy.

It did last all day but I always find with max factor they do tend to cause smudging on the underneath of my eye.Also their mascaras do seem to dry out on my quickly -either that or I just love them so much that I over use :)

This mascara is good and does the job a mascara is needed for. However i am not sure i would buy again because i think i have used better previously. I think it may be the design of the brush which does not apply as well as others do. It applies but does not enhance your lashes for a more lengthy and bold look. I still think it works well and is very affordable. Good brand but just not the best mascara i have ever used but am happy to continue using this product until i run out.

Calorie 2000 is probably my favourite mascara. It gives volume without clumping lashes together or needing to put a zillion coats on. It gives a dramatic look that is still natural. One of the things I like the best about this mascara is that it doesn't go clumpy, even when you get near the end. It's also easy to wash off (although I don't use waterproof so I don't know what that's like). I have, however, worn it to the pool and it didn't run all over my face either. It's great value for money as in my opinion it measures up to some other brands I have used which cost over $60.

Wow, I started using this when I had my first job as a Pharmacy Technician 15 years ago (I was 17). It was recommended to me by one of the other assistants as being both affordable and giving great results and she was right! Prior to this I didn't wear makeup AT ALL. EVER. Can't believe I ever did that now. Beautiful, long, dark lashes, no smudging and available in a water resistant option. I've found it adds length more than volume. Mascara is one of my fave beauty products and this one is definitely worth it.

I found this mascara good for day time use, for work etc. It separated the lashes and gave them a nice even coat but didnt make them look fuller or longer. I usually prefer a thicker looking lash and had to apply several coats to get this look. Great price for a make up bag staple though.

This is my HG mascara, along with Diorshow. I love the brush on it and find it gives good even coating of the product while curling, and volumizing my lashes. It lasts all day and will continue to use it and recommend it for many years to come :)

This is good mascara. I can get good volumes and length with this one and easy to use. I find some mascara's shape is really hard to use but this one is just right for everything. I can understand this one been poplar so long time.

Amazing lashes? Yes please!! I'm a big sucker for mascaras, so I am constantly trying out new ones. I came across this one when the maybelline one I was using must of had a faulty batch, the brushes had no bristles :/

So with much hesitation I was referred the product by the lovely girl at the farmers counter. I am so picky with my mascara that when I first tried it I was very quick to put the brush back in the bottle and think "fml" stick with what you know! But I soldiered on anyway!

My lashes are long and there are alot, but they are also thin, so I definatly need a thickening mascara. The calorie mascara kept my lashes sparse, so multiple coats was crucial. I probably put on 8 coats on the top before I was satisfied.

Although it finally made my lashes desirable, I would not purchase this product again. It dried out super fast and then coming to the lower lash line it would burn and sting and make my eyes water! I never used this product on the lower ones in the end.

If you have crazy thick lashes, I think this product would be perfect for your, otherwise stear clear.
