Tips: I always apply this foundation one section at a time and with a brush then blend with fingers :)
this foundation offers a slightly more amount of product(35ml) than others(30ml). the price is also very reasonable comparing other drug-store foundation.
the packaging is just a basic plastic tube, making sure you get every drop in this tube, it also a foundation can easily put into your makeup bag as very light weight and sleek packaging.
I have normal/combination skin, for me, this foundation is medium coverage, need to touch up though out the day. it doesn't smell like anything as it claims, and i lovehow this foundation doesn't break out my skin.
overall for the price it is a good foundation.
this product has ideal pricing, nice smooth texture and good coverage, while still being quite lightweight. The "lasting" factor, however, was not apparent in terms of coverage and colour, it tended to go a bit orange by the end of the day and also made my skin oily around the nose which made the makeup slide off.
Is product is good for the price however I had trouble finding a colour for me as I am very pale, it looked a little orange. it also rubbed off really easily during the day! The coverage is alright, it didn't cover my freckles/ acne specifically, I had to use a concealer. But this product is pretty good for it's price and has a good amount of product I had mine for ages! And I used it every day :)
I think the title of my review sums up this foundation pretty nicely in just three words - oily oompa loompa.
I picked this foundation up on sale at Farmers for $20 which is a pretty good price for a foundation. However, it was $20 I regret spending!
First of all, lasting performance? Who came up with this name? This foundation rubbed off my face so easily, wore off in most places and the rest practically swum off because it went so oily. It went so oily in my T-zone I could have stood in the middle of a school disco and been the disco ball!
Second - if I had walked past Willy Wonkal in the street, I may have been mistaken for one of his lost Oompa Loompas. This foundation literally turned orange after a couple hours wear - definitely not what I signed up for!
Overall, I hated this foundation and would not recommend to anyone! (unless you are auditioning for the role of an oompa loompa in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory - and in that case, good luck and go for it!)
Tips: AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE
This product is a great foundation, it has great coverage and does last a decent amount of time on the skin. However the product doesn't have a huge colour range and the lightest shade is too dark for my fair skin. I also think that this product oxidised on my skin throughout the day.
The packaging of this product is nice but you need to keep it upright or it is difficult to get the product out. This foundation is also slightly bigger than other foundations at 35ml.
Tips: I purchased this product for $20 at Farmers
This foundation is long lasting and hydrating with out clogging pores or making your skin oily. It can give full coverage and doesn't have to be applied with a brush to get a good effect. I use the lightest shade and it doesn't make my skin orange like over foundations do and it also looks natural.
Tips: I brought this from Big Bucket Deals for $13 although they don't always have the same products so if you do see it buy in bulk, instead of paying $25 dollar per bottle from Farmers or a chemist.
I've gone through 3 or 4 bottles of this foundation over the years. Colour code 101 is a perfect match for my cool toned, fair skin. In summer, I do sometimes mix a bit of a darker foundation in to give it a slight warmth though. This foundation lasts fairly well. It doesn't last all day. I do have to powder throughout the day. However, no foundation lasts all day on my oily skin! My main reasons for coming back to this foundation are that it is easy to apply, has a good colour range, lasts for a reasonable amount of time, and it doesn't irritate my sensitive skin.
I have used this product and re-purchased it twice now. Good coverage and lasts 8 hours, as promised. Possible a little thick which means it doesnt last as long as other foundations I have used.
I LOVE this foundation but I HATE the shade range. It's very pink based, I can use one of them if I'm really tan but other than that it's a bust.
However - great coverage, great price, great consistency, great application, and all round pretty damn great!
It's medium to full coverage, doesn't cake up, doesn't stick to dry patches, and doesn't go oily throughout the day. Applies really well with both brushes and fingers.
Tips: When you can't squeeze any more out, cut the top off the tube - there's heaps of product that gets left inside! I scooped it out into a tiny tupperware container and got another couple weeks of use!
