Maybelline Dream Pure BB Cream

I have been using this for the past year & it does such a great job that I don't have any desire to try a different BB cream.

It has a build able medium coverage, I find this great for day to day wear. I have very acne prone skin that breaks out with most foundations, however this actually does the opposite for me, having salicylic acid in it I feel really helps my spots.

For the price (around $20) you can't beat this product!! I would possibly go as far as saying it is my HG!

After reading a few mixed reviews on here I decided to go and try this out. First I was happy with the price as lets be honest after that I wasnt expecting too much. I tried it and I really love it! When I'm not wearing foundation this is my go to. It evens out my skin tone and stops my face becoming shiny. I don't find that it covers blemishes all that well by itslef but I just put concealer on first and then my BB and it covers just fine :)

Probably wouldn't call it a "dream" product. This product is a BB cream with the benefit of salicylic acid. It comes in attractive packaging and is a nice size container that it lasts a decent while whilst still being convenient to carry in a handbag or cosmetic bag. It works well under foundation and the colour suited me fine.

However, I found that this BB cream really dried out my skin. I didn't cover anything on its own, but under foundation it was almost like a tinted moisturiser (but this is the same I have found with all BB creams).

Overall, probably wouldn't buy it again simply because I found it dried out my skin more than other BB creams I have tried.

Maybelline Dream Pure BB Cream is a very nice product, I have quite fair skin with freckles (the joys of being ginger) and i like to go for BB creams or tinted moisturiser since foundation with high coverage can look like too much on my skin. Anyway! this has a lovely texture when applied to the skin and gives a beautiful even tone but at the same time feels like youre barely wearing anything, and a bonus, a little goes a long way with this product :)

This is the first bb cream I have mixed feelings about and it probably doesnt end well.

Applying to skin I like the texture of the cream and love the smell. It glides on smoothly and evens out without any hassle. I use the light/meduim shade and it fits my skin tone perfectly.

I do have lots of lots acne scarring and an uneven skin tone so I dont feel comfortable using the bb cream on it own without a powder or a foundation. It doesnt give me full coverage but rather minimal.

I usually have to avoid bb creams when my acne is bad and angry cause it flares up but this bb cream doesnt make my acne any worse which I am very pleased about.

The however cream doesnt last the entire day, more like a couple of hours and then my face goes oily.

This isnt the worse bb cream I've used but its not the best bb cream either. For the price it costs I'm not too drawn to using it and there are other products available at the same price or slightly more expensive that give me great coverage, last the entire day and dont make my skin oily.

I have just recently tried this after always using a different brand. This is probably the best thing since sliced bread! The coverage is fantastic for me. It glides on smoothly and covers and lumps and bumps I have on my cheeks. I usually use this all on its own, it just has a fantastic glow about it. The bottle is attractive and it makes my face feel naked (when its not!)

I got this in the light tint, it matched my tone quite nicely, however I found it a bit hard to apply without it looking streaky, I prefer to use my fingers so that could have been the problem. A sponge may be better but they tend to freak me out germwise lol.

It only had a mattifying effect for maybe 1-2 hours, then my skin was all shiny and oily again, even with powder over it, I had to blot all afternoon and it didn't exactly leave me looking very crash hot by the end of the day. It also stuck to the patchy dry bits around my nose & chin and made it stick out like a sore thumb.

As for my acne, it did give me some decent redness coverage but when I washed it off my blemished areas were more inflamed & red, I felt more like it was only covering the problem and not actually fixing anything.

I have bought this twice, didn't like it the first time either, but after giving it away I thought I'd give it another go, but ended up giving it away again lol. I'm just not that into liquidy type of foundationy stuff on my face. I'm still a powder girl I'm afraid.

Not a fan of this bb cream, it made my face feel dry - maybe better for ladies with oily skin? it wasn't enough coverage for me, so I really wouldn't repurchase this. There's many better bb creams out there.

im a big fan of BB creams bt this one is now my all time favorite!!!! it gives me a nice coverage! hides all of my redness too and makes my skin feel lovely all day. it doesnt make me break out like others. sounds weird but i really like the smell of it too haha!!

I use this product when I want something light and easy it is perfect for a natural look has dramatically reduced my breakout and hydrates my skin oh so well
