Maybelline Baby Lips Review

I enjoy this product it's cheap/ affordable I have like all the lipbalms I own 16 of all types and they are just smooth on my lips they last for hours and it doesn't make your lips look ugly or wet looking like other lip balms do. I give this lip balm a full thumbs up. I'm deeply in love with them

The Baby Lips range comes in a great range of flavours, and the added option of tinted or non-tinted. All of the balms are really creamy and smell pleasant but not overpowering, and don’t have a ‘taste’ like some other scented lipbalms tend to. The tinted ones provide the perfect level of colour and the benefits of a lipgloss without the stickiness – my favourite is Mixed Berry - perfect for when you have to do your make up in a hurry. The tint is a pretty pink but the main focus is still on making sure the lipbalm is as moisturising as the non-tinted balms which is really important.

Not sure about the 8 hours of wear, in fact it lasts perhaps slightly less than other lipbalms I’ve tried, but I always reapply balm after I eat/drink anyway, and the fact that it feels creamy and moisturising while on is the most important factor for me. Overall it’s a great, well priced lipbalm to try out if your lips are already in a good condition and just need day to day moisture and softness, as I don’t think it would be strong enough to improve cracked/damaged lips.

I love these :) They smell great, don't have or leave a yucky taste and they look great. I am left with nice soft lips and I love the variety. However for me they don't quite last 8 hours and I tend to have to reapply after eating

I have had three of these, I currently own two limited editions (Peppermint and Grape Vine) which came in a two pack.I also had Mango Pie as well which ran out a year ago. These lip balms left my lips feel nice and moisturised and have a nice smell. I also love the fact the Peppermint one has SPF in it, while grape one has a nice purple tint which is a bonus. Although, it has kinda lost it's smell a little bit, not as strong as it was. Plus it's claim to stay for 8 hrs does not hold up, it lasts a lot less and needs reapplying after a couple of hrs.

My sister bought me one of these to fuel my lipbalm obsession. I love the smell and colour of the lipbalm, but it's not the greatest product to appply on the go. I have a red-tinted one, so when applying if you're not careful you end up with red all over the surrounding skin and not just on your lips, something which is fine when applying non-tinted lipbalm but not good walking around with a red mess over your mouth!

It doesn't moisturise as well as they claim either, and I find having to apply another lipbalm before this to leave my lips moisturised.

I have tried the non-tinted version and also found it to not be as moisturising as say, Nivea, but the smell and packaging is great!

I really love the packaging and also the scent of the Maybelline baby lips balm :)

This is so handy for your bag for on the go but to be honest it doesnt do much for me. It has a nice scent and everything but doesnt really moisturise my lips as I wanted to be.

For moisturization I find the non-tinted ones to be better, but the tinted ones have a range of really pretty colours too. Not good for on the go with the darker shades, but with the lighter ones you can totally apply without a mirror. The only complaint that I have is that if I try to switch to a different brand of lip balm or I stop using it all together my lips go through some sort of withdrawal and end up worse than before. Maybe it's just me though, I have no idea if that's how the product was designed to be.

Also I would like to add that the bigger tubes with the colourful packaging have a really awesome way to twist up the product so that it won't get stuck and break like with other lip balms.

I am in love with this product. It is my go to lip balm. It isn’t greasy at all and doesn’t leave a weird texture to your lips. A great bonus is the glow balms that once applied leaves a light tint to your lips and still really moisturising. Im not a big fan of over powering scents with balms and I like these because there is a delicate scent but once its on your lips it isn’t there any more

I love my baby lips - I now have a collection of 5 because I like most others have the horrible habit of losing my lip balms only to find them in a jacket pocket weeks after I have bought a replacement. I love using the ones with a hint of colour, as they are great to put over lipstick, and they smell devine.

I don't mind baby lips I try to stick to the less intense flavoured ones as I find some of them taste gross. I don't like lip balms with colour in them either but they do make my lips feel soft. I always have lip balm on and have to keep one in my bag, at work, by my bed. So I'm constantly using them. I would stick to my Nivea lip balms over these.
