When I used this my lips were in normal condition and while they were smooth after application this was only the feeling of the product sitting on the surface, where it stayed until it rubbed off on any glass or mug that came my way. It left my lips feeling dry and sore.

Not a fan. The product didn't seem to nourish my lips at all, just stuck to the dry bits and felt greasy. It also tasted revolting and bitter. I used it once and never again. Maybe I'm just too much of a lip balm snob.. i usually use more high end stuff, so of course there will be a difference. Having said that I use nivea lip butter n I like them. No way does this hydrate for 8 hours.
I decided to try out the baby lips balm after hearing everyone rave about how good it was, it felt good on my lips after the first application but then I found that it really dried out my lips and they ended up being worse than what they were before.
I have very sensitive lips so this didn't go down well for me! I got a rash on my lips and they felt constantly dry. However a lot of people I know love them!
Tips: If you have sensitive skin/lips this probably isn't for you!
I use lip balm everyday so when I saw these I couldn't wait to try it. It was cheap and the packaging was super cute but that's where the good points end. I found that it actually drying after a while. I needed to apply more and more often during the day and if I didn't reapply my lips would be so dry that they cracked. Perhaps a ploy to get you to use more and more, I don't know? I won't repurchase.
Although this feels nice when on your lips i can't say it did much moisturising and i found if i left it in my handbag in the sun it would start to melt when my lipstick in the same area was fine. very cute packaging though and they smell very nice.
I got one of these in a summer survival kit I bought over summer and I was so excited to try after hearing all the hype! The packaging is bright and cute and oh my god the smell is to die for! Initially it felt great on my lips, felt moisturising and I thought I had found an amazing smelling lip balm that actually moisturises as well as say - Lucas Paw Paw, however.... after 20mins or so I had to reapply as my lips were drying. I experience this every time I use it. It dries my lips so I have to keep reapplying! I like a lip balm that I can put on once and it lasts and gives my lips a really good moisturising. Maybe it was just me!! but it just wasn't working for me :(
I had such high hope for this, it smells amazing, cute packaging and is really soft and silky to apply. But sadly i'm not a huge fan, I found that I had to constantly re apply it as it has little to no lasting power. I found my lips got slightly irritated from using this, and felt uncomfortable.
I picked up a couple of these on sale - I wasn't super impressed. It doesn't stay on very long and I find it very greasy. I have a tinted one as well as a moisturiser one - the colour is nice and it does look very much like it did in the tube, but it doesn't stay on very long.
It also has a very noticeable flavour (which I wasn't expecting) Usually the lip glosses I get have a flavour for a short time that either goes away or I stop noticing. This one I can actually taste over coffee or drinks - which I wasn't expecting.
The version we have here is just a glorified chapstick and the formula I find irritating and just sits on the lip without doing any hydrating. The US version are amazing - heaps of product in the lipstick style tube - great colours and flavours, moisturizing and is actually a true tinted balm
Tips: If you don't like the ones we have on sale here in NZ try and get some of the US version ones online - they are great. The peach one is my fave - a shiny peachy nude.
