As a female who has an obsession with lip gloss and lipstick I find this lip balm lovely and even my 3yr old daughter loves it esp since she get's chapped lips a lot. It's soft and beautiful, yet to try all of them apart from the pink/blue one that I have had for a few months. Must have in my handbag :)

I have the blue/pink anti-oxidant berry flavour. I bought it mid-winter during a spontaneous moment while waiting in a checkout queue and it has been in my handbag ever since. It is a solid creamy pink consistency but not waxy or greasy at all. A decent every-day lip balm, but nothing special overall.
Tips: I've found that it can make the lips a bit gummy if used on dry, flaky skin so I try to exfoliate my lips with a tissue before applying or else I get those gummy bits in the corners. Yuk.
Don't get me wrong, this lip balm is good. Smells good, feels good, there's nothing wrong with it. In saying that, I didn't find anything all too amazing about it either. My friends rave about it and how they can't live without it so maybe it's just me but personally it was the same as all the supermarket brands I found. It most certainly didn't keep my lips moisturized for 8 hours so I was irritated it had said it would. It was nice feeling on the lips so I would buy it again in a situation where I was travelling and had run out of my normal lip balm but I just didn't find it all too amazing. Fun packaging for people who like to buy full collections of lip balms as a lot of my friends do. Nice product over all but most certainly "basic"
The version we have here is just a glorified chapstick and the formula I find irritating and just sits on the lip without doing any hydrating. The US version are amazing - heaps of product in the lipstick style tube - great colours and flavours, moisturizing and is actually a true tinted balm
Tips: If you don't like the ones we have on sale here in NZ try and get some of the US version ones online - they are great. The peach one is my fave - a shiny peachy nude.
This was just average for me. It wasn't lasting. I'd be lucky if it lasted an hour! The pink one leaves an ugly stain on your lips and it just looks wrong. Getting it off is harder! I won't be purchasing this again.
This lip balm applies smoothly and has a nice shine to it, some have a stain to them also. Sometimes when I am going out I will opt for this over lip stick or lip gloss. I find that it moisturises my lips nicely, and lasts for a few hours. I have currently only tried three of these, but keen to try some more :)
I'm going to review two different Baby Lips lip balm. Firstly, the pink and light blue one in a berry scent. I really like this one, it's got the yummiest smell and it's hydrating and smooth. It's clear and looks good on. I think the best thing about it would be the scent though and it doesn't keep lips hydrated for 8 hours, more like 1 hour max. Secondly, the pink and silver lip balm. I didn't like this one nearly so much because it stained my lips. Normally I love lip stains but this one looks a bit weird on... and I prefer my lip balms to be clear so I can continue to apply and reapply as I wish. When they're stained you have to constantly think about the colour of your lips and if they're too dark because you're using the lip balm too often.
Tips: If you're looking for a regular lip balm I recommend you get one that hasn't got a stain in it. A normal lip stain does a much better job anyway if you're wanting that effect :)
Not a bad product. Considering I got mine for free from a Maybelline visit to my uni, I'm pretty happy with it! Smells good, goes on nicely and doesn't taste horrendous.
However, it really is just like most lip balms I have had in the past (except probably easier to find in my handbag thanks to the bright yellow lid). It worked for me (don't know about the whole 8 hour claim though, that may be a bit of a stretch) and considering I got it for free I am happy with it!
When I used this my lips were in normal condition and while they were smooth after application this was only the feeling of the product sitting on the surface, where it stayed until it rubbed off on any glass or mug that came my way. It left my lips feeling dry and sore.
I found this lip balm applied smoothly, and smelt reaaally nice, it didnt make my lips smoother however but i didnt have high expectations because it was really cheap. Love that it has an SPF 16 but i didnt feel that it made my lips more supple like it says.
Tips: Good for a quick fix in between purchasing your favourite brands etc.
