This smells amazing and the product packaging makes it look really nice - and it did moisturise my lips, but only for about half an hour before i needed to reapply! I do like the coloured ones but I dont like having to reapply so often :(
I found this product very handy when it comes to going on the run, gives excellent moisture to the lips and also a slight tint of colour, found the design/packaging of the product bright and bold very noticeable
Tips: Apply regularly to get a perfect moisture to the lips
I was excited to try this out as I usually like Maybelline products. I got the pink and blue tube and at first it was quite nice and my lips felt soft. But the effect didn't last more than maybe 3 hours and I didn't really feel that it made much of a difference to the moisture in my lips after a few days of use.
Tips: As a casual lip balm, this is pretty good but don't expect it to 'renew' your lips.
There seemed to be a lot of buzz around these little balms, but to be honest I’m not all that sure why. I bought the pink/blue berry flavoured one. The smell is nice and reminds me of the Hubba Bubba bubble gum. Smooth as it goes on, but just doesn’t have the staying power and conditioning that my current (and notably, all-time favourite) lip balm does unfortunately. This balm is fine for something different, and in certain situations it is more suitable as you do not need your fingers for application, but alas, this is not enough to convert me.
I use chap stick religiously! Maybellines baby lips is a great on the go chap stick!
The packaging is quite cheap looking, but that is just personal opinion! Baby lips has a great range of flavours that all provide great conditioning for the lips! It doesn't make the lips go dry and cracked (like some lip balms do), they keep the lips hydrated for a long time!
Tips: I love the ones that give a slight 'tint' to the lips for a great every day lip balm!
Bought the mango baby lips after my friend talked non-stop about the amazing smell! Definately smells amazing, feels non-greasy on the lips too. In summer though I suffer from very dry lips and found the product to catch on these areas. While it felt soothing, its didnt actually help moisturise my lips. But definately worth the buy for the smell alone!
Tips: I needed a lip scrub to also use the product more effectively.
I do like the baby lips, I think the packaging is super cute and they are nice on the lips when they are on but I feel like they just don't do the trick. They aren't very good if you have dry or sore lips I feel like they don't help to repair them. Also, after using baby lips my lips feel dry after about 1 hour and I have to re apply several times throughout the day, I just don't feel like it helps its more of a temporary fix.
First of all, the packaging is super cute! Easy to recognise, and nice and bright. I thought it was great because it was easy to spot in the bottom of my bag, which is normally a dark vortex where lip balms tend to disappear for good ..
They smell great! Not too overpowering either and there is a good range of flavours. My favourite is the blue and pink which is a berry type of scent. I really dislike strong scents on my lips so these were perfect!
Now, I'm a bit of a lip balm junkie and use it regularly but with these I didn't find that they moisturised for the 8 hours they claim to. I wouldn't recommend them if you have super dry lips. But for the price and the fact that they have a good range, they aren't too bad to have on hand.
These are amazingly good smelling products, have one in nearly every flavor, keep one in car, handbag, baby bag etc, would definitely recommend.
Tips: don't use lots
