This is honestly one of the best drugstore primer out in the market for the longest time. This was the first primer I've used as someone really addicted to trying out drugstore products this is one of the products I repurchase and use. It is really good for someone who has a combo skin like me to keep the make up intact for a long time

Was very silicone textured which didn't help my makeup stay in place, I also didn't like how It didn't really last either as the tube is such a small size. I do love the colour of the tube and the branding it is very cute and eye catching.
Tips: Don't use too much at any one time.
Really siliconey, I use it occasionally if I'm doing a heavier base with a blending sponge as I found brushes made it shift with the makeup. Feels nice and soft though and makeup in oilier areas seemed to stay put better while wearing it.
Tips: Apply other makeup with a sponge
This product was good at blurring pores and making them smaller. But that's about it. As for a primer. Definitely not.I felt like my make up just slid off. It couldn't set at all. Product is a little greasy also.
I recently picked this up when I was in need of a new primer and saw this on sale. I've used it a few times, but wasn't happy with it.
I think it's okay, it makes my skin feel smooth and my pores appear smaller. It's a thick consistency and it feels almost greasy. This wasn't a problem for me as my skins more on the drier side, but can see this being a problem if you have more normal to oily skin. It feels very light on the skin once applied.
When applying this on my whole face, it made my foundation look...just bad. I tried it with a few different foundations and it made them hard to blend and my foundation last for less time than it would without using any primer. It just wasn't a good base for foundation for me, which is kind of what the point of primer is. I use a bit on my nose, where my pores are most prominent, and find this works okay - it makes them appear smaller, but doesn't affect my foundation.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend this. Especially if you have normal to oily skin. I'm not sure if I will even continue to use this and will probably end up giving this away or chucking it out unfortunately.
I have large pores on my cheeks, nose and chin so definitely needed to try this.. This morning after cleansing, toner and moisturiser , I applied to my pores while closely comparing to my other cheek to see of it was working. Unfortunately this didn't blur my pores.. My face felt really oily today too with this. Might try using without moisturiser and see how that goes.
I love Maybelline, Its affordable and easily accessible. But too be honest they let me down slightly with this one. Its not the worst product, but not the best. Its suuuuper smooth on the skin and definitely blurs pores but i found that in some areas of my face, it allowed my foundation to just slide off my face.
Tips: Some foundations have ingredients that don't go well with certain ingredients in primers. So i recommend checking that your primer and foundation are suitable with one another. You can easily do your research through videos on YouTube - there heaps of useful videos!
i have oily tzone and big pores ,this primer is a silicone based , it makes the pores look smaller a little bit , but the thing is it makes my face very oily and slippery which is not good to put any makeup on top as well ,wont buy it again ! if you dont have oily skin you may can have a try !
The packaging for this product is SO eye-catching, I had to try it. It worked alright. I’d squeeze a wee bit onto my fingertip and smooth into the areas I needed to prime for makeup. I did notice a blurring effect and my makeup went over it pretty well. I really didn’t have any problems with this one. I have used better primers which were more expensive, but I’d probably give this product another go because it’s so affordable.
I had high hopes for this product as I didn’t want to shell out for benefits version. Unfortunately though this product felt super siliconey, I didn’t see any pore blurring or filling. It might work for people with a different skin tone and type however. I’m a bit combo - dry patches but oily by lunch, struggle with a few spots and black heads and pores that I feel grow in diameter by the day! A younger person with fresher skin might have better luck with this product. I won’t be buying again and have decluttered this from my collection.
Tips: Try before you buy!
