I find this is a good drugstore product, meaning that it doesn't cost a fortune but it does the job. But it isn't something that I would recommend to everyone. It has quite a silicone feel to it which would only work for those that have dryer skin as I feel it would just slide off an oily complexion. it does a good job at blurring out my pores but I find after an hour or so I found my skin would end up looking patchy if I didn't wear a setting spray over the top, soI use this on days where I am only out for a few hours and don't need a full coverage foundation. I like the cute packaging and a little does go a long way.

I liked this product mainly for the fact of the nice smooth skin feeling it gave my face after using. In saying that, you don't get much in a tube so I scrimped on using it to get my moneys worth. For my skin type it seemed fine with the Maybelline foundation I used with it - but like all my makeup, doesn't seem to stay on my face without touchups.
Was very silicone textured which didn't help my makeup stay in place, I also didn't like how It didn't really last either as the tube is such a small size. I do love the colour of the tube and the branding it is very cute and eye catching.
Tips: Don't use too much at any one time.
I love Maybelline, Its affordable and easily accessible. But too be honest they let me down slightly with this one. Its not the worst product, but not the best. Its suuuuper smooth on the skin and definitely blurs pores but i found that in some areas of my face, it allowed my foundation to just slide off my face.
Tips: Some foundations have ingredients that don't go well with certain ingredients in primers. So i recommend checking that your primer and foundation are suitable with one another. You can easily do your research through videos on YouTube - there heaps of useful videos!
The packaging for this product is SO eye-catching, I had to try it. It worked alright. I’d squeeze a wee bit onto my fingertip and smooth into the areas I needed to prime for makeup. I did notice a blurring effect and my makeup went over it pretty well. I really didn’t have any problems with this one. I have used better primers which were more expensive, but I’d probably give this product another go because it’s so affordable.
i think the packaging is a bit cartoony and certainly aimed for teens - i am no longer a teen but i cannot pass up "sale" hahahaha.
simple squeezy bottle, i put a bit on my fingers and moosh it around my face. i dont think it instantly erases anything but it feels nice gliding around my skin.
i use bb cream or foundation over top and it applies like normal, i have minimal complaints about that. i cant say i notice the primer increasing the life of the foundation though, and in some places i think it seems to make it worse, like around my nose or mouth.
i wouldn't repurchase this. it's not trash but ive certainly used better!
The name is a bit misleading in my opinion, I have large pores on my face, especially around my nose. The formula is a bit oily, just need a small amount patted into skin. I used foundation on top and it looked like the pores were slightly blurred, but still noticeable. Very reasonable price for a pore treatment.
Tips: Just use a pea sized amount patted into skin.
This works well on my skin and is so smooth on my skin when I apply it, but I get the same effect when I use wipes to clean my skin and then apply a little bit of face cream before applying makeup. So I don't really use this anymore BUT if you prefer primer over cream then I'd use this.
Tips: A little goes a long way, so the price for this little tube is worth it.
I have recently discovered the world of Primers, I really had no idea what to look for when buying one. I had come accross Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser, and thought Id give that a go. I have large pores that are so obvious. I hate that my foundation just sits in the pores instead of making them less obvious. My first try of this pore eraser i was amazed. Although not completely poreless, there definately was a huge differance. My face looked almost smooth. It looked fantastic. I found I had to use a bit to cover my whole face. And fear by the size of the tube, i would be going through it quite fast. It had a strange feeling when applying, its truely hard to explain. Its sore of gel- ish slimey. But not unpleasant. It did however make my foundation look amazing. I dont know why I never even thought of buying something like this earlier!
I do love this and would continue using this. however being new to the primer world, i want to try other primers before being set on this one.
I bought a couple of these when they were on special and have tried them a number of times now. It's amazing how well they help hide my (very large) pores.
I tend to get quite oily skin by early afternoon which is why I wear primers but found that Baby Skin didn't help with this at all, if anything it just made the problem worse. Even worse still was when I tried wearing it under makeup! I might still use it on top of my other primer (I do like how Baby Skin blurs my pores) but that seems a bit redundant.
Tips: Only use on otherwise "makeup free" days, and avoid if prone to oily skin.
