Really siliconey, I use it occasionally if I'm doing a heavier base with a blending sponge as I found brushes made it shift with the makeup. Feels nice and soft though and makeup in oilier areas seemed to stay put better while wearing it.

Tips: Apply other makeup with a sponge
I have recently discovered the world of Primers, I really had no idea what to look for when buying one. I had come accross Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser, and thought Id give that a go. I have large pores that are so obvious. I hate that my foundation just sits in the pores instead of making them less obvious. My first try of this pore eraser i was amazed. Although not completely poreless, there definately was a huge differance. My face looked almost smooth. It looked fantastic. I found I had to use a bit to cover my whole face. And fear by the size of the tube, i would be going through it quite fast. It had a strange feeling when applying, its truely hard to explain. Its sore of gel- ish slimey. But not unpleasant. It did however make my foundation look amazing. I dont know why I never even thought of buying something like this earlier!
I do love this and would continue using this. however being new to the primer world, i want to try other primers before being set on this one.
My skin type is oily and acne prone and I found that this product was absolutely horrible for my oily skin. I have very large pores around my nose area but at the same time that is where the most oil is produced. This is definitely a no go during summer for me and I'll have to find another pore filler product to use. However I do find that this product does diminish the look of pores as my foundation and concealer applies much more smoothly when I use this. I would not recommend for people with oily skin unless it's during winter time when your skin can get a little dry
Tips: Massage with warm finger tips so that the product actually fills the pores
Primer is one of those things that we all need but can't bring ourselves to spend that much money on as say a lipstick or an eyeshadow palette because you don't actually see it once it's on. However it is definitely a worthwhile investment as it's essential for keeping your makeup on longer and making it stay where you put it. Because of this I believe that this Maybelline primer is one of the best options out there. Although it doesn't 100% erase your pores like it claims to (cause let's face it, that's impossible) it does give your skin a smooth base to apply your foundation onto. I've used it with a variety of different foundations and it's worked well with all of them. This product is a staple in my makeup bag, and as it's so cheap I believe it will be for months to come.
Tips: Try not too use too much as this product works best with a thin-medium level of coverage. If you use too much your foundation will look cakey.
It's not bad for the price but it's not amazing. It works best under liquid foundation and helps glide on foundation amazing but alone it's sticky and doesn't really hide visible pores but it does help with fine lines. I recommend it for someone that wants something basic for not a lot of $$$
This gives a siliconey silken feel to the skin when applied (Like Garnier perfect blur), so applying makeup on top it will make the foundation/concealer move around and not last very long. On the other hand it hides pores and has a blur effect on the skin. So it kind of makes the skin looks better by itself. I also think it is kind of hard to remove and even though they say it is non-comedogenic, I find myself getting small breakouts after using this. I will not be buying this again as the one I have is not even finished halfway and I had it for a ..while.
I bought a couple of these when they were on special and have tried them a number of times now. It's amazing how well they help hide my (very large) pores.
I tend to get quite oily skin by early afternoon which is why I wear primers but found that Baby Skin didn't help with this at all, if anything it just made the problem worse. Even worse still was when I tried wearing it under makeup! I might still use it on top of my other primer (I do like how Baby Skin blurs my pores) but that seems a bit redundant.
Tips: Only use on otherwise "makeup free" days, and avoid if prone to oily skin.
I find this is a good drugstore product, meaning that it doesn't cost a fortune but it does the job. But it isn't something that I would recommend to everyone. It has quite a silicone feel to it which would only work for those that have dryer skin as I feel it would just slide off an oily complexion. it does a good job at blurring out my pores but I find after an hour or so I found my skin would end up looking patchy if I didn't wear a setting spray over the top, soI use this on days where I am only out for a few hours and don't need a full coverage foundation. I like the cute packaging and a little does go a long way.
I liked this product mainly for the fact of the nice smooth skin feeling it gave my face after using. In saying that, you don't get much in a tube so I scrimped on using it to get my moneys worth. For my skin type it seemed fine with the Maybelline foundation I used with it - but like all my makeup, doesn't seem to stay on my face without touchups.
This primer wasn't bad but it definitely wasn't my favourite either. It did blur my pores as it says it does but it feels like silicone. I have quite dry skin so it definitely helped my foundation not cling to dry patches but I found it wore off around my nose towards the end of the day. The packaging is very basic but thats what you would expect with its reasonably low price but i felt the product didn't want to come out so i'd have to squeeze it more only for heaps to come out! :/
Tips: I think this primer would be good for someone just starting out in make up, or maybe as a cheap alternative to have around when you don't want to waste a more expensive primer on a day when you're not doing too much.
