Maybelline Brow Tattoo Gel Tint Review

I am fairly impressed with this product but not sure if I am completely won over; so will review as follows. I really like the plain and simple packaging; minimalistic but smart. The box has step by step instructions on it, showing you how to apply and remove. The wand pulls out easily and you've got quite a thick brush on which the brow gel clings too, so you can brush it on. Putting the gel on will take a bit of practice. i found it easy enough but will have to practice how to get it precisely on my brows and not on my skin, as I found, it does dye your skin as well. After the 20 mins I removed the gel. I'm not sure if I didn't put enough on as it didn't pull off as shown on the picture on the box, but it came off easily when I scrapped it off with my nail, and left nothing behind. You can definitely see colour on my brows and it's lasted well, throughout make up removal and showers. I think I would buy again for trips so I didn't have to worry about applying so much makeup everyday. Definitely an easy product to use.

I was a bit dubious when I first received this product, because of past experiences with brow products in general. I have Light brown eyebrows that also have blonde mixed in along with blonde hair so I've found that the lightest colours in a lot of brow products look way too dark for me and not in the least natural (which is something that is important for me). I got the light brown colour which I was worried would be too dark so when I applied this, I only put just enough on to make sure I didn't end up with slug brows. This meant it didn't exactly peel off like the instructions suggest, but I put that down to me not layering it on. I ended up with the PERFECT coloured brows! the blondes blended in seamlessly with the light brown hairs and they look so natural! This product is uber easy to use and produces a really nice result - my brows looked tidy for a few days afterwards which is such a win because it's a low maintenance and affordable product but it gives off a high end finish. All in all I will definitely keep using this regularly, it's so nice waking up with good brows.

I have such sparse brows that I fill my brows in everyday. With early starts at work, I wanted something that would last the work week without me needing to maintain it much.

This is just the product.

I bought the shade Grey Brown which works well for my black hairs. It is a thick gel that you apply to your brows and leave it on for 20 - 2 hours. I have always left it on for 2 hours or more because I want a darker tint.

I peel it off from the tail of the brow and it just comes off in one piece without pulling out any hairs! The first time I used it, I exercised and it didn't last through sweat and showering, but after that I've just avoided the brow area when washing and it manages to last 3 days without touch up, and 5 days with minimal touch up in the last 2 days. It's fabulous and has made my mornings so much quicker!

Back in the good old days I over-plucked and now struggle to get them thicker again so I'm one of those lucky ladies that has to do their eyebrows on a daily basis to not look permanently worried/surprised. Pencil and powder just won't last throughout the day but this stuff will last the distance. Easy to apply using the little wand and easy to fix with a bit of Micellar water to fix any mistakes. Apply in the areas required leave to dry and peal off, just that easy! I have sensitive oil/combination skin and get KP and have had no reactions to the ingredients!!!!! Highly recommend pealing it in the direction of your eyebrow hair, less difficult if like me you keep the hair long rather than trimming it. I have a pretty intensive skincare routine to keep it in check so I have to make sure I remove it from my skin everyday but my friends who also use it have said when they wake up the next day its still there and can be there for a few days if they haven't cleansed their brow area. I only leave it on for about ten minutes (I have pale/olive coloured skin and use the light brown tint) brush my teeth while I'm waiting and it seems to be plenty for the job.

I love this product. I have naturally white blond brows and it covers them well. Doesn't stain them . Its user friendly but also fun.

I have dark eyebrows so I choose the grey brown shade as the undertones matched my eyebrows nicely. I really only purchased this to try as it was new on the market.

The tint can last three days if you avoid washing the area excessively and not rubbing them but as I like to cleanse my whole face I found it didn't last more the a day or two.

I found the tint very easy to use. Brush on and leave for a minimum of twenty minutes. I would recommend applying thickly as the first time I used this I applied thinly and I struggled to peel the tint of in one clean piece. Occasionally I do see some eyebrow hairs on the gel but nothing to be alarmed at and I don't believe the tint damages my eyebrows.

Initally I thought it was a bit of a gimmick but overall I like this tattoo gel tint. It does a good job at concealing a small gap I have in one of my eyebrows and enhances the overall appearance of them while still looking natural.

The Maybelline Brow Tattoo Gel lasts upto 3 days. It is easy to apply when taking your time to create you ideal shape.

I have used ir every third day when it has not completely faded off but requires a top-up. I think having three days of not having to apply makeup on yours brows is fantastic and has actually reduced the acne around my brows!

It is well worth the low price tag and so far have been using it for 4 weeks. I would say that I have another 4 weeks use ahead.

I would definitely recommend this to friends and family and already have!

I love this product. I've got dark hair and eyebrows but after many years of plucking my eyebrows I've got bald patches. So to even out my eyebrow colour and give them a fatter style this is my go to product. I use it every 3 days. I apply it at night and leave it on for about an hour, longer then what it says but I find if I leave it on longer then it lasts up to 4 days. I'm sure it would last a week if I didn't use waterproof eye makeup remover every day. Once I've put it on I then pluck any hair that is outside the style shape. It has no smell and before it dries it is easy to remove if you've got it somewhere you shouldn't. I've been using the same tube for the last 7 weeks and it's still got plenty in it. The brush applicator is like a nail polish brush so it's very easy to apply and get the style you want.

I was lucky to be selected for this product. I had heard a lot about this product, so was interested to give it a try.

First impressions is that I liked the container, black with a brown/gold metallic lid. It comes with a brush like tip. To be honest, I was not really sure how this would turn out, wondering if it would be too dark as i chose the darkest colour! The instructions said to apply the gel to my natural eye brow shape and leave on for a minimum of 20 mins. The finally peel off.

I found this really easy to apply to the shape of my eyebrow. It looked really dark, but apparently it would be lighter once I peeled it off. I was really surprised how easy this was to take off, I think this is due to the Royal Jelly and Aloe Vera ingredients. And it did not pull out any of my hairs! I was a little disappointed that my brows weren't as dark as I would have liked, but I think next time I will leave it on for longer. It looked natural, but not defined.

Over a few days, the tint began to fade. And I did the same process, but left it on for 30mins this time. That made a differce and my brows seemed darker, and the tint lasted a little longer.

I did this on my friends and they liked it, I think it is good for a temporary tint and natural look and I still filled my eyebrows with powder. To define them a bit more :)

I have black hair and a cool toned complexion, so I chose to receive the shade "grey brown". When I first went to try this product, I was worried that the brush would be too thick and I wouldn't get a precise line. I even kept a thin eyebrow brush next to me in case I needed something thinner to apply the product, but I never needed it! I could do the ends of my brows easily without making them too thick.

I wasn't sure exactly how much product to apply at first, so I coated my brows in as much product as possible and hoped for the best! In hindsight this could have ended very badly (but luckily it didn't). The consistency of this product is quite thick, but it's still easy to work with. There's no noticeable scent. Definitely don't make plans to leave the house while it's on because you look a bit ridiculous while it's drying!

The packet suggests leaving it on for 20 mins to 3 hours. I trialled a few different times. I found that it lasted longer and looked better when left on for at least two hours. Though I am a fan of bolder brows, so keep this in mind if you try it for yourself.

So after waiting for a couple of hours, it's time to remove the product. The packet says to start removing from the tail of the brow, which I agree is the best way. Generally I can get it all off in one go with no problems, but if some product remains use a spoolie brush to comb it out. It is way easier to remove than I imagined it would be which is great!

I found the tint lasted well for two days. By day three it was still visible, but it had faded quite a bit. I like to reapply the product every two to three days to keep my brows looking nice.

This product is such a time saver! I used to spend ages doing my brows in the morning, but now all I do is sweep some tinted gel through them so they stay in place. I've always wanted to get my brows microbladed, but that's not feasible on a student budget. This product gives you the microbladed look, while also being budget friendly. I was skeptical at first, but I'd absolutely repurchase this again.
