Maybelline Colour Sensational Lipstick Review

I have the shade In Style Sienna and I love it. Its the perfect red brown tone. Easy to apply, pigmented bold colour. Creamy formula, doesn't dry out your lips. Don't feel like I need some chapstick after a day of wearing this. Doesn't smudge easily, yay, no red marks on the face!

Does fade slightly, but easily fixed with some re-application, and does have a slight shimmery glitter thing going on. Not a big fan, I usually use with my mattifying powder.

I was extremely lucky to get a couple of the bad boys in a lucky dips mystery make up bag! I've been stalking these lipsticks for the longest time but somehow just couldnt convince my bank account to give up $20 a lipstick.

First impression: These lipsticks are housed in a hard plastic shell which I'm not too crazy about because plastic gives makeup the appearance of being cheap according to me :). This lipstick is quite unique for it signature cocoa butter smells that I love. Its just a subtle fragrance so ladies who dont like a scented lipstick should be fine to use this.

Using the lipstick. I always use lipstick straight from the bullet and this consistency is creamy, opaque, silky and just the slightest bit of glossiness to it. I must admit I'm not a fan of matt lipsticks because I find them very drying, so these lipsticks are perfect for my wants. The colours are very pigmented and opaque so one or two swipes should be plenty for full colour and coverage.

The lipsticks are very moisturising and I particularly like them now thats a winter because they are helping to moisturise my very dry lips. The lasting power is about 3-4 hours for me and even when I eat and drink I loose too much of colour. I find myself touching up my lipstick probably once a day after the first application in the morning.

I wear it almost everyday to work ranging from red to cocoa and copper brown so they've become a staple in my daytime make up.

If you love opaque, pigmented, slight glossiness and lots of moisture in a lipstick then I would recommend you try these lipsticks. They really are sensational!

I have 902 Fuchsia Flash and I absolutely love it! It's a very bright, extremely pigmented pink. The lipstick is very creamy and easy to apply but also lasts. It dries to a nice matte appearance without being too drying. I highly recommend this range and can't wait to buy more myself, they are so reasonably priced.

I love this range. There are so many colours to choose from and I love all the ones I have and want so many more. The formula is creamy and super easy to apply, and they are well pigmented. There is a big rang of formulas for lots of finishes as well, and the packaging is cute and easy to store. They last very well so you don't need to reapply too often and are very comfortable to wear. They stain a wee bit which helps them last. They can bleed a bit being so creamy but a good lip liner keeps them in line! Haha.

I find these quite drying, they felt beautiful going on, but with in 10 minutes my lips were feeling dry.

Because of this I found that the lipstick didn't last long because I was constantly moving my lips searching for moisture.

I won't be purchasing these again, but will use them while I have them.

I love this product, it is very creamy and if you want bold lips then don't go for this, but for me I like very light lips and so that is why I love this product

These lipsticks are sooo gorgeous! I absolutely adore them, and the colours are fantastic. I absolutely recommend them to any bright colour lipstick fanatic!

Maybelline Colour Sensational Lipticks have never let me down! The formula is simply perfect and the colours are amazing. They don't dry out the lips, they are opaque and creamy, they don't leave "lines" on the lips, they are smooth and have a pleasant smell, should I go on?

I have many shades but my top 3 are "Pink Me Up" which is a stunning muted pink nude colour - think your lips but better! It's not to pale and not to dark, it's just all round perfection. "Vivid Rose" which is a bright rose fuchsia pink that looks amazing with a flawless face and neutral eye makeup & last but not least "Tantalizing Taupe" - this is the ONLY nude shade I've ever found that I can actually pull off. It doesn't make me look washed out or sick and it is also perfect as a base under lipgloss.

I would gladly purchase these lipsticks over other higher end ones! they are really amazing and I love them.

I have a pink lipstick from this range (I cant remember the colour!) and i love it! The colour is so bright and opaque, the finish is creamy and very hydrating and feels so nice on the lips. The only downside is that it doesnt last very long, you have to re-apply not the long after applying it the first time. But its worth it for the colour :)
