Maybelline Colour Sensational Lipstick Review

The BR person that has packed my BRBB has given me jackpot lipstick colours each time. This is a bright pink, so bright when I opened it to show to a male coworker, we were both like wow that is bright. It may be bright but I have been wearing it at least twice a week.

The colour does transfer to food, coffee cups but it still sticks around. When I have worn and not reapplied, it seems to be a paler version of itself. The lips are still coloured pink but it has faded from the bold pink shine to a less bold pink matte that is dry on my lips, we are looking at about 6 hours to happen. Obvious reason as to topping it up at points during the day as I like it bold. It is a creamy formula that seems to moisturise my lips well. The lipstick is well pigmented. It is easy to apply anywhere as there is a mirror on the top of the lid.

For the price I would definitely rebuy this and I have been looking at the rebel pink versions of this. However BR has made awesome choices for me in all my BRBB's and given me really wearable lipstick colours that I do like, so now I have to choose my own colour and I have not idea of the shade I'm wanting.

I love how this lipstick feels incredibly moisturising but it colour slides right off my lips. I have three shades: Are you Red-dy, Vivid Rose and Twinkle, and all three feel like a tinted lip balm than a lipstick. After a meal, it looks like I have not applied lipstick at all.

I guess this lipstick is ideal for you if you want to try a bold colour but have been hesitant up until now.

I already owned one of these lippies (in Pink Me Up) and was stoked to receive Honey Beige in my BRBB. Id been wanting to try a beige toned nude for a while now but didnt want to fork out the money only to look like I had smeared foundation on my lips. I find the formula non-drying and doesnt crack on my lips, I usually do a couple of touch ups during the night as it transfers a little but for the price its well worth it! Ill definitely be open to trying more nudes from now on too :P

I love lipsticks and have a large collection but I don't have any colour of lipstick in this particular shade. I brought the most recent beauty box and received the Vivid Rose shade. It was incredible how rich this shade was which made it automatically stand out from any other shade. Most pink lipsticks promise you this rich, lively colour but once its applied dulls down the shade a fair bit whereas the Vivid Rose was exactly what was promised, if not even more. It also applied nicely and felt nourishing, 5/5 would recommend, was stoked with this purchase!

I was very lucky to receive a lipstick in my September beauty box. I received a bright orange colour which I think is super gorgeous. The lipstick itself is very creamy and mosturizing. It doesn't dry up my lips.

These lipsticks are great because they don't dry out my lips, they are very smooth and creamy to apply, and don't appear to be just sitting on top of your skin it blends in and gives a nice mix with your skin all over the lip. I love all the pink colours!

I received this lipstick in the shade ‘Coffee Craze’ in the September Beauty Box. The shade is medium brown and gorgeous!

It comes in a silver holder with a salmon coloured plastic cover, and is an easy twist-up style. It has a very delicious caramel scent – it altogether reminds me of caramel latte!!.

The formula is nice and creamy and glides smoothly across the lips. It is quite hydrating and lasts very well. It doesn’t smudge or stick to my teeth. It goes nicely with the lovely foundation that also came in the BRBB!

I usually don’t wear a lot of lipstick, preferring lip pencil as it has less smudge, and is easier and cleaner to apply, but I really do like this lipstick, and love the colour match to my skin.

At $20 you can’t go wrong with this lipstick.

I received this in the shade "904- vivid rose" in my September beauty box, which is a very pretty and vibrant bright pink! It is packaged in a pretty silver tube with a transparent bright pink lid. It has a nice subtle sweet scent- kind of like vanilla, or caramel. It applies very smoothly and has a very creamy texture & is very hydrating on my lips. It is also very long-lasting, as it seems to stain my lips- even when it has worn off a bit, they stay a pretty pink! It's such a bright fun colour, just as vibrant on my lips as it is on the tube, and I am very happy to have it in my collection- I really want to try out some more shades now! although i think this pink would still be my favorite :)

This wee gem made its way into the beauty box. I had no expectations apart from the fact that the colour was amazing - I was going to make this work.

I applied it straight onto my lips. Lovely vivid colour (i have fifth avenue fuchsia) which actually last all night with minimal reapplication. Great moisturization and it didn't flake off at all. AMAZING!

It wore better than my NYX lipsticks (I expected that) and compared to the smooth application of my Mac lipsticks. At a great pricepoint and longevity this will be a repurchase for me. I have had a few winding issues with the lipstick but hey - the colour is amazing if it takes a wee bit to wind it's not the end of the world!

I got this in the September BRBB and let me tell you how much my heart skipped a beat! I love red as most of you know when it comes to lipstick so of course I hugged this to me and celebrated the fact that I had it in my hot ilttle hands. I have the colour Fatal Red which is the perfect shade of blood red. Its name is actually quite fitting.

The packaging itself is nothing too exciting. It is a silver tube with a blood red lid to try and depict the colour inside the tube. The packing is quite sturdy and doesn't feel like it would break in a hurry so these are all good things so far and ticks all my high expectation boxes.

The formula is quite smooth and velvet like. It glides on easily and makes it easy to get a perfect lip line without too much effort. The colour is very intense and highly pigmented. It is far more pigmented than I expected so am pleasantly surprised. The finish is satin which I love because it doesn't dry my lips out but it also doesn't wear off so fast that I need to keep re applying.

The smell is like a vanilla extract which makes it easier to wear without a yucky smell that lipstick often gives off. I have to say it's actually longer wearing than I would have thought. Of course after eating and drinking the lipstick has its wear marks but in its entirety it's still in tact and just needs a slight touch up to look perfect again. It nourishes my lips and keeps them from drying out in the elements which I love! All in all for the price it is a great lipstick with quality plus, plus
