Maybelline Colour Sensational Lipstick Review

Lasts so long and is so highly coloured! I have this in coral and fuchsia and they are my new favourite go to colours,

Fatal Red - My most favourite red lippy ever!!! Granted it's probably the only one I've tried BUT it's super pigmented and makes me feel FAB when I'm wearing it! And it actually suits me! Its super moisturising and goes on super smooth. It isn't smudge-proof so beware! It has a shiny kind of finish and has a lovely subtle almost cocoa buttery smell. I love the sexy red case too! the 515 Coral isn't my most fave colour, but I was gifted it and have worn it a handful of times... doesn't really suit me but the formula is still nice. Would totally recommend to all

I love these lipsticks! i so far have a total of 5 ! and i plan to get more.My favorite has to be 235- warm me up , It is a perfect nude pink which i wear pretty much every day , They are not the longest wearing lipsticks but i just love how smooth they apply. They never feel dry on my lips and i have quite dry lips! although since i have been using a lip scrub i think the lipstick applies better on to my lips .They have a pretty good colour range. The other colours i have are ; 045- pink me up which is another fav of mine , 205- nearly there, 105- make me pink and 625- are you red-dy . They are all nice colours and id recommend them :) I like the packaging for them it shows you if its going to be red, pink or nude . I would recommend these to everyone and wont stop buying them any time soon :)

I was extremely lucky to get a couple of the bad boys in a lucky dips mystery make up bag! I've been stalking these lipsticks for the longest time but somehow just couldnt convince my bank account to give up $20 a lipstick.

First impression: These lipsticks are housed in a hard plastic shell which I'm not too crazy about because plastic gives makeup the appearance of being cheap according to me :). This lipstick is quite unique for it signature cocoa butter smells that I love. Its just a subtle fragrance so ladies who dont like a scented lipstick should be fine to use this.

Using the lipstick. I always use lipstick straight from the bullet and this consistency is creamy, opaque, silky and just the slightest bit of glossiness to it. I must admit I'm not a fan of matt lipsticks because I find them very drying, so these lipsticks are perfect for my wants. The colours are very pigmented and opaque so one or two swipes should be plenty for full colour and coverage.

The lipsticks are very moisturising and I particularly like them now thats a winter because they are helping to moisturise my very dry lips. The lasting power is about 3-4 hours for me and even when I eat and drink I loose too much of colour. I find myself touching up my lipstick probably once a day after the first application in the morning.

I wear it almost everyday to work ranging from red to cocoa and copper brown so they've become a staple in my daytime make up.

If you love opaque, pigmented, slight glossiness and lots of moisture in a lipstick then I would recommend you try these lipsticks. They really are sensational!

I love this lipstick , i have a a purple/pink shade , can't remember the name , but i highly recommend these lipsticks , so creamy , don't make your lips feel dry , amazing pigment and feel so nice on and last very well! i am slowly collecting all these lipsticks x

I'm in love with these lipsticks! I have around 6 of these mainly in the purple colour/area etc. Plum perfect is in my opinion the perfect winter shade and even though it's quite dark, its super pigmented and I believe easy to wear and pair with outfits etc. I love it! they all are great colouring, the lasting power isnt amazing but I find to stay on reasonably well and only having to apply once every now and then. I buy them at cheaper places (online) only because $20 for a drugstore lipstick sounds ridiculous but if I found the perfect colour then it would be worth splashing out. My friend also borrowed 'Plum Perfect' then went out and bought one for herself as she loved it on her even if she never really wore lipstick. I'm on the lookout for the perfect nude!

I love this lipstick. LOVE IT! I have it in shade "Pink Peony", and it's utterly delicious. The color is a lovely soft subtle pink with a subtle shimmer. The colour is not special as such, as something similar us not difficult to come by, but what I really love about this lipstick is the texture. It's a really creamy, silky, balmy consistency. There's no oily feel, so stickiness to it, no gritt, it honestly just feels wonderful to apply. I love how it makes me lips feel. it also doesn't have that gross, bitter taste that many lip products seem to have. It's very subtle, and very pleasant. It doesn't feel dry or cake or leave residue. I really like this lipstick. My favourite out of everything I've ever tried, which is saying a lot. I have a few different brands, some cheap, some medium, and some high end. This hits all the expectations, and for me in many ways exceeds that if the far more expensive products. it's even great on my lips when they're feeling dry or flaky. Such a great lip product. I want all the colours!

I have this lipstick in the shade 445 Mango Diamonds and I love this lipstick and the shade. It is very shimmery and shiny and the colour is more like a soft coral/peach colour (rather than an orangey/mango colour). It's not a colour I would normally use, but it's been fun to be a bit different and wear something brighter for spring/summer.

The packaging is very cute - pink shimmery see through case around a silver applicator. It does bug me though that I can't get the ingredients sticker off (it's too sticky).

The texture is very creamy and it is very moisturising on my lips, but the colour doesn't last very long (so need to reapply often). It smells very yummy though (fruity scent).

I was in a production which required me to have bright red lipstick and last for hours. I was worried when I first bought this product that since I'm wearing it all the time it dry out my lips and go clumpy. I was pleasantly surprised because it lasted for hours and even though I wore it almost every day for a week it still managed to keep my lips moist! x

I was lucky enough to receive this lipstick in the shade 'Vivid Rose' in the September Beauty Box. The shade is pretty much as described, a bright vivid rose! The Beauty Review team did an epic job with my shade, it is my new go to!! I LOVE it!

So, the formula! It goes on beautifully. It is nice and creamy and easy to apply. It feels hydrating and MAN does this stuff last! I am usually a stickler for lip liners under lipstick but this just does not need it. I can drink coffee, eat, go about my day and this lasts hours without any need for touch up.

I have to admit I have not been a huge Maybelline fan in the past but their lipstick lines are killing it!

My only very minor con is the packaging. It has a slightly sheer plastic lid which is indicative of the inside shade - because mine is pink I am not that in to it. I tend to like classic packaging, black, gold etc. Such a minor point though!

I want more shades, I intend to buy them! My favorite item from the beauty box! Oh and one more time, the shade 'Vivid Rose', if you like rosy shades and bright pinks you MUST get this!!
