Maybelline Colour Sensational Lipstick Review

I've always been a lip balm girl, but after receiving one for a promo that Farmers had going on, i decided to get into it. I got a lovely Plum Perfect shade, and it goes on so smoothly, gives off a lovely deep colour and shine, and actually lasts a good few hours without the need to constantly reapply. This particular shade makes me feel a little edgy, but really glam. I also have the Red Revival, wow I really love this product.

Love the colour range! They are nourishing on the lips, and never leave me feeling dry (as a lot do) the colours are great, and they last reasonably well. I usually touch up a a couple of times a day, i find that in a night out i would maybe retouch 2 times, if i'm drinking, which isn't too bad!

I have Hot Plum and MAT6. I love the bright hot pink shade paired with a gloss for shiny patent lips. MAT6 bleeds a little so I have to line my lips and blot well. Both have great pigmentation, smooth formulas, and a decent wear time.

I bought this lipstick a while ago, in a vibrant red which I adore. Being somewhat of a lipstick rookie, it took some practise to get the application just right, but after a couple of tries I find it goes on quickly and easily, and unless I'm eating and drinking a lot it stays on for a whole day without needing too much of a touch up. This would definitely be my go-to product for other colours, and with such a huge range I can't wait to try more!

I mus confess i own more than one or two of these lipsticks. I was able to pick them up cheap at a beauty sale. The colour went on smooth and stayed on my lips for hours. It smudged when i ate or drank, but hey, that happens. It was very moisturising on my lips and didn't dry them out like some lipsticks do. It came in a very compact style and so fit in my make up bag easily without taking up too much room. They are my go to lipsticks because they're easy to apply and stay long as long as needed. The only downside is that because its very creamy and nourishing it doesn't take too many coats easy. It gets very liquid like on the lips, so if you need to re-apply, remove the existing lipstick first.

The first thing I noticed about this lipstick is the lovely smell, it's very sweet which I really like. I have the shade rosewood petal, which is a muted pink. The shade is quite natural on the lips with added shine and shimmer. The application feels soft and creamy on the lips and the staying power is very good! My lips never feel dry after using this which I love. Would buy more shades of this lipstick

I have these in six different colours and really like most of them. They smell so nice and they feel very creamy and smooth to apply. They do leave a very nice shine to them so you don't really need to add a lipgloss over the top. I found that the pigmentation in these lipsticks are very good besides the light one I have is very sheer which isn't pigmented at all only has a shine to it. The staying power for these lipsticks are pretty good also you don't have to keep applying all the time. Has a wide range of colours to pick from also.

I received this lipstick in the September beauty box. I for the shade ‘Vivid Rose’. This is a great colour, and great quality lipstick. It’s quite matte but I like this in a lipstick, it makes it stay on your lips a lot longer than glossy lipsticks. The colour is great, it’s so colourful and really brightens up your face, and it gives you a completely different look! It applies smoothly and evenly, and like I said it stays on it’s almost like a lip stain. Great product, I think I might have to buy it in red!!

I recieved this lipstick in my Sept BRBB, and I love the colour Electric Orange 912 it is very similar in shade to MAC Morage just not as pigmented giving it a bit more of a natural look, I would definitly recommend if you want to branch out into the oranges but want something not too bold. They are creamy and apply smoothly but I did feel that they faded quickly throughout the day and required a few re-applications. The other colours of from this range look fantastic and I cannot wait to try some of the others!

I was very lucky to receive this in the September BRBB I received the colour 728 honey beige which is a nude colour on the browner side.

The lid is a sheer nude colour indicating the colour of the lipstick, with a silver tube that is square at the bottom.

Two swipes over the lips leaves good colour and no streaks. The formula of this lipstick is nice, it's very creamy and glides on easily and best of all it feels quite moisturising on the lips. The finish is great it's not too glossy or look like it's going to slide off. It lasts 2-3 hours before I have to reapply, which is pretty average for me I swear I eat it off my lips half the time without even knowing. This has a slight "lipstick" scent.. It's that kind of talcum powder scent.

Overall this is a nice lipstick and I can see myself wearing it quite often.
