I own the eye shadows in the shades Icy Mint and Seashore Frosts. The eye shadows have nice packaging; which consists of heavy glass pottles which makes them feel extra fancy. Icy Mint is a gorgeous mint shimmer but isn't very pigmented and requires 3 coats to become a solid colour. Seashore Frosts is a stunning blue-green with a gold iridescent shimmer to it. It requires 2 coats to become a solid colour for me. These were the first creme eye shadows I tried and I am very impressed. The colours are stunning, they last for me all day without any fall-out, creasing or fadeage and I am certain they would last for 24 hours if I wanted to wear them for that long. They are tricky to get off with make-up remover but that just shows their staying powder. I love these as they are easier to apply than powder eye shadows and they last for much longer.

Tips: Apply with a dampened eye shadow brush rather than your finger to build up colour more quickly.
Maybellines one of my favourite brands. I can find it at almost every store that I go shopping at. I also like it when I find these lines at Bucket sales. I find that they're cheaper at these. I enjoy using eye shadows. I wanted to get myself at least one of these because I have heard how great they are.
These shadows come in these small glass jars. The colour I chose is Immortal Charcoal. It's an ashy grey colour. The texture of this shadow is creamy. It doesn't have any scent to it at all.
I used my shadow brush. I prefer to use a study bristled brush because this shadow is very creamy. It blended nicely across my eye lid. I didn't need lots to cover my eye either. You don't get fall out like your standard shadows. I didn't get to try this for 24 hours but it did last me all day.
I managed to get my shadow for five dollars from a bucket sale. It was really cheap. I actually regret not getting more. I always like to try one and then make a descision about buying more. These shadows are definitely worth buying. I wouldn't try using a sponge applicator with this shadow as its quite creamy. Overall its a great shadow to use and I will be purchasing more.
Tips: Check that the shadows aren't dried out before buying, if you notice cracks or discolouration it could be a sign that they have turned.
I love my colour tattoo eyeshadow and I really don't use them as much as I should!!
The eyeshadows are really pigmented and have great colour payoff on the eye. My favourite is 'barely branded'.the shimmer is really nice without being too overpowering. They also blend really well with powder eyeshadows.
They come in a nice glass pot which is study and quite big. There's a lot of product so it will last you a long time. I usually apply it with a small shadow brush or my fingers. Both seem to work and have good colour/shimmer payoff. The eyeshadows stay on my eye all day (I use an eyeshadow primer).
Good product! Would certainly recommend!
Tips: Use and eyeshadow primer to ensure it looks better on the eye and lasts all day.
I have one of the chocolate brown shades and I use it as a 'one and done' eyeshadow. I use my finger to apply it, the texture is creamy and I just pat it over my whole lid and blend the edges with a clean finger before it dries down. It doesn't take too long to dry and I found it doesn't crease on my hooded eyes until many hours later. In saying this, it doesn't stand out to me in my collection and I often end up using a Colourpop Super Shock or Stila liquid eyeshadow over this.
I loooooooooove the Maybelline Colour Tattoo cream eyeshadows! They come in so many beautiful colours, in both metallic/shimmery and matte finishes, so there's something for everyone. The price is great, and even better if you buy them somewhere like Chemist Warehouse! They last on the eyelids all day without creasing, and can be used on their own or as a base for powder eyeshadows. The small little tub lasts for ages as you don't need much because they are so creamy and pigmented. No complaints here! I will always repurchase these and recommend them to everyone!
Tips: Make sure you close the lid securely so they don't dry out.
I love thèse eye colours. They are so easy to apply and then the colour stays in the same perfect way all day. Creaseless and non-splodgy, these are great colours too. I use a brush to apply and blend though a finger would be fine. Long live Maybelline for a great idea!
Tips: Use makeup remover to clean the brushes.
Upon hearing multiple people rave about these, I decided to pick one up when I was at a makeup sale. I got the colour 'Seashore Frosts' (which I believe is a limited edition), as I was drawn to the gorgeous mermaid-ish duochrome.
Honestly, the colour is incredible. It is super hard to explain but to me it looks like something a mermaid would wear haha. It looks sort of grey/green in the pot but shimmers silver/purple/blue. It's stunning.
I love the packaging of these as I really like being able to see the colour of the product. It makes it super easy to spot. Also the packaging is really functional and durable - I feel totally sweet about taking this traveling with me.
In terms of the consistency it's a really nice cream shadow. I find it easiest to apply with my fingertips and you can build the colour up easily by layering the product.
Even without primer this didn't crease on me but it did tend to fade a little by the end of the day. With primer, however, this stuff did not budge one bit! It still looked gorgeous by the end of the day.
The pigmentation is amazing - the colours shine through with even just one swipe and I love that you can use this as a base or on its own. Personally I like using this by itself as the colour is incredible.
Because you don't need a lot to get decent colour payoff, I imagine this will last me a long, long time. I didn't pay the full price for this but I definitely think that the price is good for what you're getting - and I would happily pay the full price for this.
If you haven't tried these - do it now! I am on the hunt to get more, I was so impressed by this.
Tips: When using cream or gel eyeshadows, make sure you put the lid back on properly to stop them from drying out :)
I seem to have a "thing" for eyeshadows there is just something about all the sparkly colours and getting creative with different colours. Don't even start me on the different types. From the traditional palette style, loose eyeshadows, crayon style and this creamy solid type. Sometimes there are just far too many choices.... Oh who am I kidding we need choices!
So I picked this up in the colour 35 tough as taupe. It comes in a solid glass jar. The colour is a cross between a grey and a purple. I love these colours as well as trusty Browns.
The texture of this is very very creamy, I use a brush to apply it and it goes on seamlessly and it doesn't crease. There is no fall out like you can get with some eyeshadows. There is a wee bit of a scent to it a bit like cocoa butter it's not off putting and it does fade quickly once applied.
This stays put all day. It does say 24hours but I haven't left it on for 24 hours because that would probably mean going to bed with makeup on and that isn't ideal and I'm not exactly a party all night and into the next day kind of gal anymore but I would say a good 8-10 hours depending on how crazy my day has been.
This is also a really good base. Apply it and then apply a loose powder over top to make them last longer.
I will definitely be adding more colours to my collection I find this so versatile and an all round good product.
Wow, I was blown away with this little pot of colour. I love eye colours, whether it's mascara, eyeliner or shadow, so when I saw this in purple I had to try it. I was a bit dubious about a creamy textured eyeshadow staying put and not sinking into my eyelid creases. I wasn't sure about the best way to apply at first so I used my fingers (which I do for most eyeshadows). This worked, however, it was hard to get a decent amount onto my eyelids this way; was ok for a lighter colour. So I dug out an old eyeshadow sponge brush applicator which enabled me to layer the colour up a bit and create a really vivid purple. And it really does stay on for 24 hours; well even longer on one occasion. I was out quite late and had to be up early the next day so I went to bed with my makeup on (I know, smack on the hand), but the eyeshadow was still perfect the next day and the colour hadn't faded, it looked fresh. It feels great on too, not greasy or sticky and it doesn't sink into your eyelids. The pot is really handy too, easy to fit into a bag if you need to travel. The price is really reasonable; $13.99 and you don't need much so it will last a long time.
Tips: apply liquid eyelliner first (or kohl), and then use your sponge tip applicator (or eyeliner brush) to apply colour tattoo over the top, it looks amazing.
