I bought two of these eyeshadows as a bit of an impulsive purchase but man did they pull through for me! Initially they were a bit messy to apply to the lid especially as I tried to blend two colours (barely branded and bad to the bronze) but i managed to blend them through with a brush quite well. These are highly pigmented and are literally the first eyeshadows to stay on all day without any creasing!

I love love love this product! I don't have extremely oily eyelids but a do have a small problem with creased eye shadows for time to time and the color tattoos eliminate that issue. They work well as a base for eye shadow and also look spectacular on their own, especially with all the different colours available in the range. highly highly recommend these love them and they are a staple for beginners :)
These eyeshadows are a great purchase! They're really cheap and the colour range is really nice! They last on all day and can be used as a base/primer, or an eyeshadow by themselves. They take a bit of work to get off, but well worth it! I assume that they're similar to the Mac Paint Pots (I haven't bought any) but do try!
I've had some less than amazing experiences previously with cream eyeshadows that just didn't fit the bill, but after hearing so much hype about Maybelline's Colour Tattoos I had to give them a go.
I have this in 3 metallic shades - Bad To The Bronze, Eternal Gold and Permanent Taupe. They're all very pigmented, eye-catching hues that give really good colour payoff. I normally apply eyeshadow using a brush, but I found these work best applied using my finger.
I'm also not normally a fan of pot-style packaging but it does work well with this product, letting you easily see how at a glance which shadow is which. They're also good if you're looking at a versatile product to take away with you as the packaging is really sturdy. I often use these when I'm in a hurry for a quick pop of colour.
In terms of longevity, I'm not sure whether these would last '24 hours' as I haven't attempted to wear them that long but I find the colour wears well without creasing all through the day.
For the price you pay you get sooo much product and you really don't need to use a lot of colour, so I can see this lasting a long time - really great value for money and I highly recommend you try them if you haven't already!
Tips: Fingertip application works best!
The colour tattoos have been raved abot but i found they're only good for one thing and one thing only. A base colour. They do make your eyeshadws last longer and they have a good, not great colour payoff. Bu the blendability is not great and they can be a bit of a pain in the butt to apply. Overall I'm happier with other cream eyeshadows that have more blendability for the same colour payoff.
Tips: Use only as a base coat.
I use this under shadows and it makes them last longer and look better,it stays on all day and is a really good base for a smokey eye. You can apply them different ways; you can chuck it on super quick just by itself or as a base. It's great and I like them better than mac paint pits because they don't dry up in the container as quick so they last ages after opening
Tips: Apply with fingers
I own these colour tattos in Barely Branded, Bad to the Bronze, Bold Gold and Tenacious Teal. I love Barely Branded for everyday wear as a cream shadow base. I always wear a primer underneath, then this base and then eye shadow on top. I think these really help intesify the colours of your eyeshadow and also help them stick to your eyelid.
Tenacious Teal makes a great liner! I like using it with a thin angled liner brush and placing the liner on my upper or lower lash line, it lasts all day and doesnt move once set.
Tips: I would definitely recommend these to people, however I think for more mature skin with lines in the eyelids these may sink into and emphasize these lines.
I have been using the Barely Branded shade as my every day primer/base and i love it! I find it lasts all day with no creasing or flaking. I normally apply powder shadows over the top and it makes the colours pop and last all day with no creasing. It also looks great on its own, great for trips away if you have to pack light. I'm almost at the bottom of the pot and there has been no drying of the product. I will be buying more and in more colours.
Tips: I normally apply with my finger tips and bend out with a brush for a lighter coat. For a more coverage apply with a brush from the start.
I use these daily as an all over eyelid colour by themselves or as a base under my powder eyeshadows. They are great they blend on easily, don't crease and last all day until I remove them with waterproof eye makeup remover. One little pot of these will last ages before it dries out just remember to screw the lid on tightly.
Tips: Often on sale at the warehouse and farmers
I absolutely love this product!
I have three colours - 'bad to the bronze', 'barely branded' and 'painted purple'.
Amazing quality for a great price. Plus there is a lot of product!
I love using these as a base or on their own - they work great as both! When I use them as a base they make my eyeshadow POP and last all day/night. They are really easy and quick to use. I love putting some on my eyes if I'm in a rush and don't have time to do a full on eyeshadow look.
This product doesn't crease at all on me - which some eyeshadows and bases do.
Go and get some! They are AMAZING!
Tips: Pat on with your finger and you're good to go! Store upside down to prevent them from drying out
