I found these to be incredible. They are highly pigmented, a great base if you want to add colours on top and they stay on for ages. I highly recommend these.

I used this for the ball last year in the colour 'Bold Gold" and ended up wearing my makeup for twelve hours, and my eye makeup looked the same after that time as it did in the beginning. The glitter in this colour particularly is very chunky so I prefer to spread it across my eyelid with my fingers but all in all its beautiful, great for gold smokey eyes. The other colours are just as pigmented, if not as chunkily glittered.
I always used the MAC Paint Pot in Bare Study as my eyeshadow base religiously....that is until I tried the Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Barely Branded. Not only is it sooo much cheaper; it goes on smoother. The pigmentation is great and it keeps my eyeshadow crease free all day. What more could you want?! Definitely my new HG. I plan to collect them all : )
these get me so excited. I love the range of colours, how pigmented they are and you can create so many makeup looks using these, easy to blend. when it says color tattoo they are not lying. gosh i love these so much. my ultimate at the moment.
This is the perfect eyeshadow primer and I am in love! I use it all over my lid right up to my brow before applying shadows over top. This gives an amazing base, makes the colours pop, and helps to stop the shadows from creasing. I also use it to line under my eyes which gives me a shimmery wide-awake look.
Tips: Leaving the lid off will dry the product out quickly. Make sure you put the lid back on as soon as you're finished using the product. My first one dried out when I was doing someone's ball makeup and left the lid off for about half an hour!
This little pot of amazingness has saved me on mornings I am running late! I have the colour 'bad to the bronze' and it is the best for creating a quick eye look. I apply my MAC Paint Pot in Bare Study all over my eyelid and then apply this over the top and smudge it out with my fingers. It lasts all day, doesn't crease and the colour pay off is amazing. I use mine all the time and it has barely gone down. I think it will dry out before it runs out.
I love how affordable these are and I will look at the more neutral ones to use as eye shadow bases too.
Can't recommend highly enough.
Tips: Apply with your fingers- I have tried many other ways but fingers work best!
Love this stuff! I tend to use it as a primer underneath the usual eyeshadow powders. It takes a bit of getting used to due to the texture, but the best way to apply is just to use your finger and smudge it over the lid and into the crease!
Upon hearing multiple people rave about these, I decided to pick one up when I was at a makeup sale. I got the colour 'Seashore Frosts' (which I believe is a limited edition), as I was drawn to the gorgeous mermaid-ish duochrome.
Honestly, the colour is incredible. It is super hard to explain but to me it looks like something a mermaid would wear haha. It looks sort of grey/green in the pot but shimmers silver/purple/blue. It's stunning.
I love the packaging of these as I really like being able to see the colour of the product. It makes it super easy to spot. Also the packaging is really functional and durable - I feel totally sweet about taking this traveling with me.
In terms of the consistency it's a really nice cream shadow. I find it easiest to apply with my fingertips and you can build the colour up easily by layering the product.
Even without primer this didn't crease on me but it did tend to fade a little by the end of the day. With primer, however, this stuff did not budge one bit! It still looked gorgeous by the end of the day.
The pigmentation is amazing - the colours shine through with even just one swipe and I love that you can use this as a base or on its own. Personally I like using this by itself as the colour is incredible.
Because you don't need a lot to get decent colour payoff, I imagine this will last me a long, long time. I didn't pay the full price for this but I definitely think that the price is good for what you're getting - and I would happily pay the full price for this.
If you haven't tried these - do it now! I am on the hunt to get more, I was so impressed by this.
Tips: When using cream or gel eyeshadows, make sure you put the lid back on properly to stop them from drying out :)
SO MANY COLOURS! BRILIANT TEXTURE! SO SMOOTH AND CREAMY AND EASY TO APPLY AND I AM IN LOVE! A holy grail product.
Tips: Can dry easy - but easy fix - dab a little water.
I was a bit reluctant to try this product as I hadn't had a good experience with cream eyeshadows. But this product has gotten me back into them! The range of colours are amazing and the price is very reasonable!
Tips: I first bought the shimmery white "Too Cool" colour tattoo to use as a base under matte eyeshadows to add a slight shimmer. I then went back and bought more...
