I tried this due to the title 'Fit Me' because I always have the problem of finding the perfect colour for my skin but this foundation did not fit me at all. I chose one thinking it would be perfect but it was too light after application and when I opted for a shade darker it was too dark. I do tend to have quite oily skin at times so I would definitely not recommend this to people with oily skin. It felt quite heavy on my face and that's never a nice feeling and had to apply a powder several times during the day to keep the shine under control. I wouldn't buy this again.

I only got this foundation as I was in a rush and couldn't find the one I normally use. It did its job, but don't think it was for my skin type I have quite oily skin and it felt my pores all clogged and made me break out! eek! wont be using this one again :(
Lays beautifully on the skin, I just wish that they'd bring it out in a few more lighter shades as the lightest in the range being sold here in NZ is slightly too dark, I mix it with my other favourite to achieve a flawless base.
I got this as my first liquid foundation that actually matched me, and as i was only learning how to apply make up, I probably applied too much. But i would not buy this product again. It would be good if looking for a lightweight foundation, with light to medium coverage, but I found I was using a LOT of concealer with this product to cover spots and uneveness in my skintone after i had applied. I found it was a demi-matte mixture, which on my normal/oily skin, just made me look greasy after a couple of hours. It didnt stay put for long, and it made me break out :(
I found this foundation quite cakey to put on to be honest!! I struggled to get a nice finish from it, even with a matte primer. I found that it had quite an oily finish, even with powder over the top, and it didn't stay in place too impressively throughout the day. I have quite temperamental combination skin, and I didn't think it was very friendly towards it, which sucked!! I found it sat quite heavily on my skin too, and definitely contributed towards breakouts! I know that for some people this is a holy grail product, but for me it just wasn't really too great.
Tips: Applying powder over the top of it does help set it, however I found that this made it sit really heavily on my skin and still didn't really help with the oily appearance of it
I love the way this foundation looks on my skin, looks dewy and radiant. Looks awesome in photos as well. Although it's called Fit Me, 120 is too dark on my skin and 110 is too light (and most places don't sell 110). The main downside is that throughout the day it does get patchy (I have normal skin) whenever I wear it I make sure I carry it in my handbag with a make up brush to touch up. Also, another down fall is that it's not very touch proof. I hesitate when hugging others and I'm in fear of half my face ending up on their shirt!
Tips: Blott your face with a tissue then use a good setting powder when applying.
I personally love this foundation. Its not like others where your face feels thick and pasty. Maybelline Fit Me leaves your face feeling weightless and able to breathe with great coverage. Definitely recommend to anyone with oily skin and wants good coverage.
This is a great foundation, nice and soft on your face, and lasts approx 10hours. This looks dark when you first put on your face but once you work it in its not as dark as you think.
Tips: work well into your face when applying
loved it at first was great on my skin gave me great coverage but then after a while my skin rejected it and i stared to get really oily skin.
Tips: use the fit me setting powder after
I was excited to try this foundation because it’s for normal to oily skin. Maybelline have rebranded their Fit Me products well at least the foundations. There is this one the matte and poreless and the normal fit me foundation with the original formula. The Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless foundation is a tone and texture fitting foundation formulated with blurring micro-powders that supposed to mattify, erase pores and absorb oil for a naturally matte and poreless looking finish. The formula is a very thin and runny consistency.
The formula is made for normal to oily skin types, if you have dry skin this is not for you, i recommend trying the dewy and smooth formula. The foundation shade selection comes in 16 shades, i got the 235 pure beige. The packaging comes in a glass bottle, with a description sticker on the back of all the ingredients, the shade name and number on top of the lid and also the brand name, shade and number on the front of the bottle. This foundation also doesn’t contain a pump dispenser.
The foundation feels very lightweight on the skin and provides a light to medium coverage, it’s certainly not a full coverage foundation but can be layered for a fuller coverage without making your skin look cakey. It is very easy to blend out with a foundation flat top brush but i found using a damp beauty blender made the foundation look beautiful with a really nice finish. The finish of it isn’t matte i felt it was more of a velvet finish. I also tested for flashback taking a photo with and without flash and there was no flashback.
I found the foundation did oxidize roughly 45 minutes after application as well as the foundation did sink into my pores. It did not control my oil very well at all, i found it made my T zone area where i would normally get oiliness a lot worse then normal. I found myself using alot of blotting tissues and after each use the foundation had transferred onto the blotting tissues. I don’t recommend this foundation at all for those hot sunny days especially if you have oily skin, i think this foundation is more suited for normal skin.
Overall i am disappointed with this foundation and i don’t like it at all, Maybelline need a pump dispenser for their foundation products especially for how runny the product is, their is no control over how much you pour out onto the back of your hand or mixing palette. I don’t recommend it for users whom have oily skin or enlarged pores. I think it’s best suited more for people who have normal skin with much smaller pores. I am thinking the formula isn’t strong enough for enlarged pores and for people who have oily skin. This product is not something i will repurchase.
Tips: Apply with fingers or a brush, if you have mild oily skin you can set it with a powder after your foundation application & before applying foundation also a good primer is good too.
