Maybelline Great Lash Mascara Review

I've had this mascara stashed away for awhile and have only just started using it again, and I'm blown away by its simplicity, but overall effectiveness. It's such a great daily mascara.

The wand is excellent at separating and coating each lash, so you don't have to worry about missing any. It thickens and also gives definition. However, I find it does tend to clump throughout the day, but a great thing about that is it's easy to separate unlike other mascaras which stick your lashes together like glue. Another thing I love is that it doesn't give that spidery effect which I absolutely hate.

I definitely recommend this product as a daily wearable mascara, but it's not something you'd reach for when you want super thick voluminous or dramatic eyes.

I've owned this mascara 2 or 3 times,and it's a favourite of mine. I find the brush to be the perfect size for me,and it's very lengthening (not so volumizing though) I wear quite a few coats of it and luckily I don't get spider lashes or any clumping throughout the day! As to be expected from a waterproof it stays on pretty well,doesn't smudge everywhere,and (on the downside) is a bit hard to remove,but i love it anyway. It's a brilliant,quick,and easy everyday mascara. (it's on the cheap side too :3)

This mascara is a good basic one, however if you want a mascara to hold a curl, dramatically lengthen o volumise, or stay put with no smudging, this is not for you. It's alright, it darkens and balances the face, however I'd only recommend to those who have naturally amazing eyelashes, or who aren't looking to make their eyelashes stand out.

Pretty sure that this was the first mascara I ever tried about 7 years ago. So this product has certainly been around for a while! I think that this is a good product for beginners as it is affordable and the brush is on the smaller side. Sometimes big mascara brushes can be tricky to control when you're first starting out with makeup, but this one is nice and small.

This mascara won't give you super dramatic lashes. I would say that it's better for wearing during the day, if you don't want to look too 'made up'. It gave my lashes a decent amount of length, but I never noticed a significant difference in volume. I don't recall it flaking or clumping, but towards the end of the day I did find it to be a bit smudgy. This mascara can be quite wet, so make sure you give it plenty of time to dry.

I probably won't buy this mascara again since I now prefer big dramatic lashes. But it certainly served me well during my teenage years.

This was the 1st mascara I ever used in my teens, such a staple mascara for teens as the colors just draw you to buy it. It did the job then, but there are so many mascaras now that do the job better but to be honest, for old times sake I'd probably still buy this to make me feel young again since I'm now 31 lol.

This mascara gives great volume to your lashes! However, it is really hard to remove. I also found that it can be really clumpy and easily smudges even if you haven’t rubbed your eyes! Separates your lashes good, but adds a lot of unnecessary clump to them as well!

I loved this mascara for a waterproof alternative, it certainly doesn't run at all but it isn't my favourite. I don't think that it makes your lashes look thicker or longer. Fabulous product though if you are at the beach or the pool but not the best for a night out or a day to day choice.
