Maybelline Great Lash Mascara Review

This didnt do the trick for me! After all the hype I thought it must do wonders to my eyelashes! Sadly that wasnt the case, for me I found it clumped my eyelashes together and overall just went everywhere! Did not look flattering at all and in now way added any length. Was very veeery disappointed :(

I have hooded eyes and I would wipe this off my eyelids every hour or so as it would transfer. This is one of only 2 mascaras that this happens to me with. If I tried this again I'd try waterproof maybe.

The amount of raving reviews I'd seen of this product was enough to convince me I needed it, so I drove to Farmers to purchase it. The price is average, no more or less than your standard drug store mascara - but boy is it lame. Did it lengthen? Barely. Did it look voluminous? Not at all. Did it curl? Nada. It's essentially an eyelash tint, which also flakes and transfers under the eyes. I used it on days when I was running errands, only because they made my lashes more visible than nothing at all, I'd already paid for it so I figured I would try to finish the bottle. I couldn't. It was a massive let down and I really don't understand the reviews, perhaps the formula has changed?

I'm not a big fan of this mascara, I know it gets a lot of attention but I totally disagree with the hype around it. I found it was clumpy and dried out really fast, it also feathers a lot and I didn't notice any change to the condition of my lashes. Better than not using any mascara at all but not something I would go out of my way to buy again.

im not sure what the hype is it didn't work that great for me eyes are a must do for me and i would not use this product again

My sister had this mascara and so I started to use it sometimes when mine ran out, or I couldnt find mine.

Didn't enjoy this mascara, found it very thick and clumpy, it lasted but with this clumpy look.

It was very hard to get off at the end of the day and didn't do alot for my lashes, however in times of thats the only masacra I have I would use it.

It's not a bad price so this is its one bonus :)

I find it clumpy and does not make my lashes that much fuller or longer like it says and its pretty hard to get off at night time. I will never understand the hype that is built up over this product. very average in my eyes

I tried this when it was purchased for me as a gift.

I was terribly impressed. I naturally have quite thick, long lashes and i felt that this mascara was quite watery and tended to make my lashes look gluggy and short, whereas other mascara's would make them thick, have volume and long.

The pink packaging is cute and appealing. Only a very thin layer is required, otherwise you'll end up having weighed down lashes, you almost have to wipe the sides of the applicator brush to wipe the clumps off before applying.

I wouldn't purchase this mascara for myself after trying it.

When I started using make up this was my first one I used. The brush is small and it doesn't give you much volume. But if your looking for a subtle look this is a good one to use. Or you have small eyelashes. It seemed to become clumpy quicker than the other Maybelline mascaras I've used. It did the job but I wouldn't buy it again.

I had such high hopes, after hearing opinions on this product - that it was one of the classics, stood the test of time, etc etc. So in a supermarket emergency dash one day, I selected this out of the many options available, remembering that my flatmate swore by it.

I just can't see why this has cult status; maybe I got a dud tube, because it just didn't seem to set and I ended up with flecks of mascara under my eyebrows, from my natural curl. The mascara applies smoothly, but doesn't volumise, just darkens. The brush is small, so takes ages to apply to long lashes; was kind of handy to use on bottom lashes, but even that smudged off onto my bottom lid throughout the day.

One good thing, is it's easy as anything to take off, just cleanser did the trick. Bad side of that is, it seemed to come off my lashes at the drop of a hat. Don't even get me started on what happened when I wore it to gym and sweated like crazy. Panda express.
