Maybelline Great Lash Mascara Review

While the actual mascara is alright.. it really comes down to the question is it worth it. I found that one layer (without a curler) didn't really do much for me.. it kind of just made my lashes thicker (which is good) but I didn't find the product to be all too exciting, maybe I'm being harsh on it but I don't really think it's worth it, I found that I had to layer the mascara multiple times to get any real results.. but it wasnt a bad thing if I wanted my lashes to look like they have that extra volume and length that everyone is expecting in mascaras these days.. I got the waterproof version which was good at staying on my lashes all day! Which is super good! I did finish the product (which, for me, is a good sign) but I don't think I will purchase another, o would much rather go for something a little more expensive (such as the too faced, better than sex mascara, waterproof) and know it is good! Than go back to the Maybelline great lash mascara.

I love this mascara, but I do find it can be difficult to remove. Doesn't smudge or budge during the day, but can leave lashes feeling a bit stiff.

This is an amazing product , one of my go tos. It was very wet and got everywhere for the first month until it dried out a little bit. Now it makes my eyelashes look long, natural and full without the use of false lashes.

I got this mascara in the waterproof version, there were no other waterproof mascaras available on the website I was buying from so I decided to pick this one as apparently one is sold every 1.7 seconds so it must be good right? I got this and it adds great amounts of length, separation, is extremely black and holds a curl super well throughout the day making your eyes like open and awake! This mascara separates well even when dry It doesn't crumble when provoked but instead neatly comes apart from the lashes it is grouped to if that happens. Especially when new this mascara applies super nicely and doesn't look clumpy and doesn't look gross and balled up when applied over itself dry, it says apply a second coat while wet but I think it goes over itself in a really flattering and smooth way unlike many mascaras that just will not layer.

I would say its a great starting out mascara. Definetly not one of my favs as of now but when I was younger this was my #1 mascara. It does do as it claims, probably wouldn'y buy again just because I love my roller lash!
