Maybelline Great Lash Mascara Review

I brought this when I had just run out of make up because it was cheap, I still use it today because it gets into the tiny inner eyelashes and it also does the bottom ones so well without smudging and without making any mess, spreads them all equally too which I was shocked about!

If my memory recalls this was one of the first mascaras I ever bought myself, using one of my very first paychecks when I was 14.

I remember being so excited to get my hands on one of these coverted pink and green mascaras, and even to this day if in doubt I grab this mascara from my local supermarket as it will give me the results and not cost the earth.

It has the blackest black coverage for making your natural lashes look bolder and longer, having great length in my lashes anyway helps but I have had some mascara clump and flake, even making my lashes appear smaller which is just odd. But Great lash mascara doesn't do none of these things, it just does what is meant to, washes away with ease and doesn't result in awful panda eye syndrome.

Love this mascara, makes my lashes super long and dark, it looks like I have false lashes on and I love it, only down thing for me is I tend to rub my eyes a lot mascara or not, and it does smudge but that is from rubbing my eyes so that's not the products fault

Excellent for an everyday mascara. Doesn't make them particularly long but darkens nicely and makes lashesmore visible. Small brush makes application easy and precise. One to keep in the handbag. Excellent value for money.

Until very recently, this was the only mascara I would use and I had used it for several years. However, recently, I started to get frustrated with the way it "dropped" (made dark patches under and above my eyes). I found myself having to remember to wipe under my eyes throughout the day or I looked like a panda!

I decided to try some other mascaras to see if this was a universal problem. Turns out it isn't. I still love this mascara for it's lengthening and plumping - it really coats my lashes well and makes them stand out. If they could fix the dropping, I'd go back to this one.

My Mum has always told me that this was the best mascara. I have very sparse and short eyelashes and this mascara does literally nothing that I want to get out of a mascara. The wand is bristles, and I prefer a comb-like wand to really get my lashes individually. It also clumps and seems to be quite temperature sensitive in that respect, and I also have a hard time getting this one on my eyelids in my attempts to get each lash coated.
