Maybelline Great Lash Mascara Review

I always use drugstore mascaras but this one just doesn't cut it for me. While I still have it in my drawer I find myself grabbing for my other Maybelline mascaras instead. The brush is nothing special on this, and doesn't do much for lashes. I find that it takes at least a couple coats to give it any volume or length. It is around the same price as other drugstore mascaras so do yourself a favour and purchase the Maybelline falsies mascara instead!

This is a great everyday mascara, quite average, yet everyone i know owns one of these! If you go for the more expensive mascaras this is definately a good one to keep as a back up as its not too pricey

This was one of the first mascaras i brought for myself and i loved it and only used this for about a year but i wanted more volume and length so i have been on a mission to find a mascara that i love.

This is such an iconic mascara and I can remember seeing it when I was growing up. Personally I don't think this mascara does much for my lashes, but I cant imagine never having one in stock. I use this mainly for my lower lashes as the small wand can get the job done better than most other mascara wands. I found this product is most suitable for an everyday look where you aren't trying to achieve huge dramatic lashes, but rather a more low maintenance casual look. It wont give you much volume or length but does do a good job of separating your lashes. Overall I think this is one mascara I will continue to repurchase over the years and will continue to use all the time

I used to love this a few years back, it was my go to ! i hadnt used to for a while and decided to pick it up again a few weeks ago, it was a bit of a disapointment when compared to the mascara competition it has now. This mascara just doesnt seems to do anything with thickness or length of eye lashes..it does do a great job separating lashes, would recommend for a first mascara !

It really didnt live up to its name of great lash..but I will say that I still like it, I am a fan of the more natural mascara's sometimes and this was like that. I have fair lashes so mascara is a must for me. This didnt clump, went on really smoothly and nicely, great coverage just it was very light coverage almost. But it lasted well , didnt give me any irritations all in all I was happy with the product. But if you were buying this for big bold lashes I wouldnt recommend it :)

Honestly, this mascara just didn't seem to do much. It made my lashes slightly darker but when wearing it I generally have to go over it with another mascara to get the desired look. It doesn't clump though which is nice.

This product is a good price and does go on easily and makes my lashes look darker and thicker. I do find it clumps a little bit and doesn't lengthen my lashes as much as a few other mascaras I have tried. It does stay on for a long time though, which is a great thing if you are spending a night out. However, when I get home and try to remove it I find myself scrubbing my lashes more than usual even with my typical coconut oil routine.

This was the first mascara I ever owned and I really liked it while I was using it! It was great for me when I was younger as I didn't wear too much make up so just some dark lashes were all I really wanted. It was also good in terms of cost and I could afford it due to the fact that it is quite cheap. However, now I can afford better mascaras I can definitely see the cons. It wasn't as easy and sleek to apply as the mascara I currently own is and it could get clumpy towards the end. However, I would still recommend this to people as a first mascara or anyone who is on a tight budget.

Im not a huge fan on this mascara, I bought it having high expectations as I have heard a lot of people rave about it. when I applied this I felt like I needed to finish it off with another mascara on top, it didn't give me the fullness and length that I desired. I wouldnt buy this again as I have had better for the same price if not cheaper.
