Its ok as far as mascaras go. The first layer applies well but the second not so much. I also find that it hard to wash off.

Tips: Dont apply to much.
This mascara claims to be lengthening and it does do that. Also is very black which I like. Good price point compared to other mascaras. I unfortunately have hard to deal with eyelashes that only hold their curl with few mascaras, unfortunately this mascara did not do that. But for someone who does not curl their eyelashes this is a great mascara, also love the brush.
I hear about this mascara as if it is the Holy Grail of makeup artists. It does make your lashes black, but most mascaras will add a little length and blackness. If it's only a month old, it won't clump. After a month or two, you will get clumps. This does flake and smudge. The best mascara I've tried is "Too Face, Better than Sex." It's pricier but lasts a long time without clumping, flaking, or smudging. It makes my lashes thick and look like I have lash extensions. Oh yeah, and the brush is based off Marilyn Monroe's curve ratio and it curls your lashes. It comes in a big, pink, aluminum tube.
Tips: Pass
My mascara was almost about to run out when I saw this at the supermarket. I used this many years ago and couldn’t quite remember if I liked it. I did remember everyone around me loving it so I got another tube for myself. I don’t know if they changed the formula over the years but I didn’t like it at all! You’re supposed to re-apply the mascara until the desired thickness is achieved (do not let dry). I think I did about 3 to 4 coats and it stopped getting any thicker after the second one. The consistency is not thick and does not have a shiny finish so it looks natural.
What I disliked about it was how it could literally straighten my lashes after just 1 coat. My second time using it, I curled my lashes with a slightly heated curlash and made it extra curled up to compensate. However after the second coat my lashes still straightened and was bent up at a sharp angle. It looked so awkward I was so disappointed. My lashes are naturally straight and I’ve tried other mascaras that are only for volume or thickness (not curling) but they never straightened my lashes this much; I would at least keep a semblance of a curl. For the Great Lash mascara, I’m not sure what’s weighing my lashes down because the consistency is very light and liquid.
I would say it’s more suitable for people who want washable mascara and have fine but naturally curled lashes, or people who are wearing lash extensions, but definitely not for me.
It’s an average massacre. A bit messy to apply then tends to smudge during the day. Panda eyes not really the look I’m going for. Didn’t want to stay on my lashes.
I always see this mascara getting awards year after year (or at least it feels like it) and can never understand the hype. This was my very first mascara and I’ve bought it many times over the year out of nostalgia and curiosity only to end up with panda eyes and regret. It had me online looking for all the hacks but no matter what I do, I still end up with more on my face then my eye lashes at the end of the day.
Unfortunately when I used this mascara it left clumps on my lashes and I also found it looked like I caked it on when I only used a little bit so I stopped using it.
This mascara fills the basic mascara requirements, being that is changes the colour of your eyelashes. I like it for every day use as it's fairly natural looking and I can wear it without any other makeup without looking silly. The first few times I used it I was using a much richer face cream and it seemed to flake off at the ends, which was weird, but I've since changed face lotions and the problem has disappeared. Next time I buy mascara I'll try something else as it rubs off around my eyes a bit. All in all, it's not the best, it's ok.
I've used this mascara myself and found that it doesn't really make a huge difference to the eyelashes (so I presume too thin?) and after a month or so any subsequent uses give rise to clumps, at which point I just tossed it out. Disappointing as Maybelline often makes great mascaras but oh well. The price range is attractive!
Tips: It's cheap but not amazing. Try Maybelline Falsies Flared or any of the Volume Express range which I also reviewed.
So I bought this yesterday and I have worn twice (last night and today) and unfortunately it isn't a biggy for me. It darkened my lashes as it said it would but it made them look all spidery, it flaked and didn't set as fast as I would have liked. I must admit for $14 I really shouldn't be complaining but I think next time I'd rather spend an extra $5 and get a decent mascara. It has lasted me all day without smudging, irritating my eyes or flaking off but it's dead obvious my eyes have a bad mascara on them. Except my bottom lashes look natural so at least it has an upside. The top lashes don't even look remotely natural. I should have read the reviews before purchasing. I would not purchase this again unless it was a last resort. Once this tubes empty I'm going back to covergirl lashblast.
