Very good setting spray, dries down quick and doesn't get sticky in your hair like some can, Not super heavy. Fine as a matte or dewy finish setting spray. Priced well as most maybelline products are and is a decent amount of product so goes a long way.

Maybelline Master Fix Setting Spray Review
Maybelline’s Master Fix by Face Studio is a translucent, lightweight mist to fix the look you love all day. Setting sprays are now a key product in every makeup kit, to extend makeup wear and prevent fading. This lightweight mist leaves no visible layer and is quick-drying to leave skin feeling soft and fresh, not sticky or shiny.

Tips: Would reccomend.
I recieved this in a BBBE a few years ago. I had never used a setting spray before so wasn't too sure what to expect. It's a fine mist so care must be taken to not spray in your eyes. I normally hold it about 15cm away from my face with my eyes closed and circle around my face for a few seconds. Its lightweight when sprayed and fully dries within 30 seconds. Once it's on your skin it's like an invisible shield. Not sticky and no residue. It really hard to say whether it improves the longevity of my make up so not entirely convinced about it.
A pretty good setting spray, nothing really to fault. Affordable and (Maybeline) is pretty accessible too. Settles nicely onto skin, doesn't feel tacky, and helps makeup stay on pretty well. Its not the best setting spray out there but definitely is one of the best drugstore ones I have stumbled across.
I'd never tried a setting spray prior to recieving this one in the ball season BBBE. Having a modest beauty budget at most times, I'd always kind of thought of it as an unnecessary makeup product. Well that thought has changed since i've been using this, i'm now sold on setting spray.
This spray pump disperses the product quite lightly as a very fine & cooling mist, it feels quite refreshing, not too wet and dries quickly. I was slightly concerned that it might affect the matte finish of my foundation, but it doesn't seem to. This product performs as promised and keeps makeup on point and in place throughout the duration of use.
This setting spray has convinced me that it's definitely worth having, and I think that the $20 RRP is very reasonable. I'll definitely purchase this setting spray in future and highly recommend!
Yes! Yes! Yes! I love this setting spray. The packaging is cute, it keeps my makeup in check and ON my face during a busy day and I just can't fault this beauty at all. Will definitely be purchasing again when this bottle runs out x
Tips: Spray crazy and enjoy the Flawless look x
I purchased this setting spray from a makeup sale for $10, which is such a bargain! I didn't know if I needed one but when I see a product I don't have, I really have to try it out to see if it's what I need. The spray comes in a cute black bottle with white writing and 100mls size is great value. You just shake it up and spray it on after applying your makeup. The spray comes out in a very fine mist and is nice and even on your face. It feels really refreshing, not sticky at all and drys nicely. Works good at keeping my makeup in place all day. It's a great product!
I have always had trouble with setting sprays as I find they don't really do much for me and my make-up still does not last the day. I do have quite oily skin, so keep in mind my experience with the product will be a bit different to everyone elses. The product comes in a generously sized 100ml bottle and I found the price reasonable for a setting spray. The spray is an attractive black in colour with pink and white on the bottle. I find the spray doesn't blast huge amounts on the face so it doesn't run out too quickly. I found the instructions to use 4 sprays per face of make-up a bit excessive, but I haven't run out of this quickly. The spray dries relatively quickly and smells a bit like glue. It doesn't wet the make-up or make it move around. I noticed since purchasing this that my make-up did last a bit longer and appear less shiny compared to when not using a setting spray at all. However, this doesn't make enough of a difference to justify the price, hair spray does a fair better job. I am quite oily and my eyeshadow tends to crease and wear off within three hours, despite primers and having good products. My foundation also gets quite oily by the end of the day. When I used this, my eyeshadow still had heavily creased and worn off by lunchtime, and my foundation would start to slide off. So this didn't really do much to set my make up at all, it just increased the wear of my makeup by only about an hour. I wouldn't use this again as it failed to set my make up at all, but I think this is mainly down to my skin type, so don't be too put off by my review.
Over the past few years I have trialed and tested so many setting sprays, I will say with confidence that this setting spray is a drug store dupe for Urban decays All nighter setting spray, after weighing up how well they perform, they would go hand in hand, maybe even besties?
I have normal to combination skin and with that in mind, if I apply a medium to full coverage of makeup, most times it ends cakey, the powders and the liquids start to react and I have one powdery overloaded mess. Spraying this over the top absorbs all of the excess powders and seals the makeup. I can carry on with my day and not worry about my contour sliding down south after a few hours. Not to mention this works great with water, rain, sweat, its like a magical barrier that helps keep your makeup in place. It reminds me of that phrase "Take her swimming on the first date". We have had a few adventures to the swimming pool and with all the water that is splashed about, my makeup still looks flawless after each swimming day.
Another thing I like about this setting spray is you can spray this all over your face and eyes when you're wearing false lashes, I have noticed in the past that a lot of setting sprays will react with the eyelash glue and stops them from sticking, it can end up a horrible nightmare (speaking from experience) but you can spray this setting spray all over your face without any worries, you can also spray this onto your brush when applying eye shadow, it creates a foiled eye shadow and makes the eye shadow last all day, there is no need for eye shadow primer.
The mist that is released is small but sprays a large perimeter of mist, 2-3 sprays is more than enough to set your makeup. This also doesn't have a mask like feeling when you spray this on your face, it keeps my t-zone clear and its not oily at the end of the day which happens when I use All nighter from Urban decay.
This was sent in the Ball seasons Best beauty box ever and this has to be my most favorite product from Best beauty box ever. And Im sorry to say this Urban decay but I have officially ended our 3 years relationship.
I will be repurchasing more.
I received this in the Ball Season BBBE and I'm so glad that it was included! I have tried a couple of other drugstore setting sprays prior to using this Maybelline one, but this product has definitely been my favourite. The plastic bottle that it comes in was way bigger than I expected it to be. You get 100ml of product and it retails at $19.99, which I think is great value for money for a setting spray.
The nozzle sprays out this product in a fine, even mist. It feels lightweight on my face and it doesn't take long for it to dry. It also feels cool and refreshing on my face, so I think I'll enjoy this product even more during the hot summer months.
My skin can get quite oily around my nose, but I've found when I use this product I don't get oily at all. The other day I put on a full face of makeup in the morning to save time, as I was going out with friends later that night. I used this setting spray and it helped my makeup last all day. My eyeshadow and face makeup still looked perfect later that night, as if I had only just applied it.
The other great thing about this product is that it makes my makeup look even better. Sometimes I feel that my makeup looks a little powdery, but when I spray this product on my face it removes any sign of 'cake face'. It soaks up all the powder and leaves me looking flawless.
Overall this setting spray helps my makeup look perfect and it sets it in place so it lasts all day. I definitely plan to repurchase this when it runs out. Give this a go if you're looking for a decent setting spray that doesn't cost a ridiculous amount of money.
Tips: Don't apply this if you already have mascara on, as it might make it run or transfer.
I received one of these a couple of years ago in a BBBE. It was the first setting spray I'd tried and I remember really liking it (I think I gave it away though, because I never really used it). Now setting spray is apart of my everyday makeup routine and I picked one up on sale about six months ago. I've tried more setting sprays in the last couple of years and I don't like this one as much as I used to.
I think it's okay. It settles nicely on my skin and makes my makeup look more matte, but doesn't make it feel more matte, which I like (if that makes sense lol). I'm not sure if it improves the longevity of my makeup, but I've only found a few setting sprays that make a noticeable difference - and even then it's not much. I like sprays with a fine, lightweight mist and this one isn't as fine as I usually like, but not too bad. I've sprayed too much of it before and it's made my face just feel really wet. It doesn't make my skin feel sticky or leave any residue. I will still continue to use it, and don't regret buying it again, but won't do it again. It's not the main setting spray I use. I think the product would last ages, the bottle is quite big and you don't need a lot.
