Maybelline Volum' Express the Colossal Review

I have the black waterproof version of this mascara and when i first put it on i really thought it was nice, it made my lashes look amaziging and gave them lots of volume. But after wearing this for an hour i noticed the black under my eyes, it dosnt last long and smudged under my eyes really badly. Through out the whole day i seemed to have more mascara under my eyes than on my actual lashes. This could just be the water proof one but i wouldn't use this product again. Definitely preferred the falsies by maybelline

I got this recently from a makeup sale for $10 and love it! I don't wear mascara that often but when I do this is just perfect.

The wand is medium sized which makes it really easy to apply. I apply 2 coats and wowza, my quite short lashes are transformed into those of a goddess! They become really long, curved and gorgeously dark.

I have had no issues with clumps or smudging and find it reasonably easy to remove with makeup remover wipes.

The yellow and purple packaging is really cute and is actually what stood out for me at the sale. Highly recommend!

I picked this product up at one of them huge sales and found it to be AMAZING! My eyelashes would never clump. The colour is a nice intense black this made my blue eyes pop even more. I already have really long eyelashes but this just gave them that extra curl to make them look longer and my eyes even larger.

Very black and gives great length. Can pop layer after layer for a more intense look, didnt clump up or dry out till I almost used it all up. Wasnt to hard to remove which is always great, it sucks when you rip your own lashes out and this didnt do that. I paid $10 at a big bucket deal and will buy it again.

This is my go to mascara, no matter what look I'm trying to achieve. It gives me long, volumised lashes without being clumpy and I can apply several coats without clumps too. I have rather sensitive eyes and some mascaras can irritate them, but I've never had a problem with Maybelline mascaras.

It gives really good volume, and long dark lashes, I use it when I want a more dramatic look,it is very easy to apply, and you can build up the volume with out clumping your lashes. I absolutely love the "colossal" range from maybeline. One of my favourite drug store mascaras.

Maybelline is the best mascara on the planet. Colossal has been my choice for a few years now. But i always stick to Maybelline for ALL my mascaras. I go through one mascara every 3-4 weeks, and always get people asking me what mascara i use.

I find this product great for getting a more bold look. You can apply as many coats as you like without it going clumpy and having your eyelashes stick together. The only downside is that it can dry out quite quickly.

I was so excited to try this Mascara out, I have very fine short lashes and to have more Volume and thickness is an absolute must for my lashes to stand out. For my first application the product was extremely thick and quite clumpy on the lashes, they did look thicker on first application, but not separated and I didn't like the look. But as time wore on and there was less product on the brush, it became easier and my lashes were nicely separated. I definitely liked the look as time wore on but for the price you pay, it doesn't do what it says from the get go and I've tried cheaper Mascara's with better results.
