Maybelline Volum' Express the Colossal Review

This is definitely one of the best mascaras out there. It makes my eyelashes super long and thick without going clumpy. It makes your eyelashes look a lot longer especially when you curl them as well.

Obviously this mascara was going to be great. I mean come on, not many can beat Maybelline at mascaras. I've had this since January last year an it is only now just starting to run out. It's non clumpy, gives lots of volume, separates and gives plenty of length. What more could you want in a mascara?? Oh and the packaging is adorable as always, Bonus ;)

I used this awhile ago and loved it! I haven't repurchased it since and I'm not really sure why. It gave me awesome volume and length, it was just everything you would want in a good mascara really. It also separates your lashes really well which is something I always look for, can't stand them to not be well separated. It also builds up layers very well without being clumpy.

Love this mascara. I'm quite picky when it comes to my mascaras. Although I wasn't a fan of the Define-A-Lash by Maybelline, I love the Colossal. I have used it for a few years now, and it is still one of my faves, and my most used mascara. The formula isn't too wet, and therefore doesn't weigh my lashes down, which I hate because my lashes don't hold curls well. This mascara is my go-to mascara when I want defined and curled lashes, and I absolutely love the waterproof formula. The brush head is big, and distributes products nicely, and I find it can be used to either sweep straight upwards, or slightly to the side for a more doe-eyed effect. I think the 9x volume is a bit of an exaggeration, but I still think this mascara is amongst my top 5. Definitely a product worth trying, especially the waterproof one.

This was my go to mascara for some time. Now I normally like plastic bristles but this mascara is an exception. Isn't too thick and doesn't clump up. Gives a "fake lash" effect without looking too fake. At this price, gotta love it! =D

This is my go to Mascara- if I am ever in doubt of what to get or need somethin that will do what it says I grab this. It lenghtens my lashes as well as volumises! i abolutley love it. I have tried quite a few different ones- Revelon, Clinique, MAC- you name it ive probably tried it but this one is the best!!

I do not have thick or long eyelashes, so mine eventho it is jetblack still needs a little help. Love this particular one of Maybelline. Definitely get a much thicker more defined eyelashes, and if I do it properly also gives me the impression of lengthy lashes. Being an eyeglass wearer, I can only use this when I am wearing contacts as it can often smudge. However, I wouldn't say it can do what it says in one coat, only maybe to those with already thick lashes. Price wise, it has definitely gone on to the expensive end of the range but still, I would definitely recommend this for anyone wanting volume.

Awesome mascara gives really nice volume, not so much with length though. I use this over top of a lengthening mascara and it looks great. Would buy this product over and over again

This mascara makes my eye lashes look big bold nd beautiful resulting in a positive and confident feeling when i go out! Would so recomend this to anyone interested in purchasing mascara!! Though somtimes will rub off easier than hoped

This mascara is very volumising. The volume will hold throughout the day. I use the waterproof version because I easily get watery eyes. I prefer this mascara more than the falsies. This mascara also does not smudge on me. Most people will probably need 1 coat only but for my Asian straight lashes I can get away with up to maximum 2 coats. Be aware though that more than 2 coats will bring the volume down, this probably depends on how much lashes you've got and how much product it can take. This is my favourite mascara out of all Maybelline mascaras!
